I finally got my four post Forward lift in, and i absolutely LOVE it!! Did a full brake job and installed a trailer hitch on my wife's car this weekend, and I could actually walk when it was all done. Knees weren't shot and my back actually felt pretty damn good. By far this is the best tool ever!!! One draw back I am finding is the supplied steel ramps, damn, those things are heavy!! I think they are like 40 lBs each easy. Real PITA to move and store. Looking at other lifts and it seems like the mounting on most is pretty similar, flat part of ramp slides into slot on the end of the ramp, I assume somewhere someone make an aluminum version. Forward actually make them but they are super long for low clearance vehicles. I like the lengths of the steel ones, just a little over 31 inches. Anyone know of good one? Definitely will be an upgrade, if I can get them off the shelf I am going to go to a fab shop and have some made up, but I assume with the slew of 4 posters that are out there someone already has them. Probably be cheaper to buy off the shelf than have custom made. Appreciate any insight.
