What amazes me is how none of those free tools were put up in the tool section. Those work benches would've sold for $20-$40 each in a couple days. I'm not complaining, just saying I would've tried to make some beer money.

In my area I have neighbors that will give you beer if you take it away.

Some areas in CA have crazy high prices for each Sq. Ft that it makes sense to just purge it with out the hassle or delay and get some of that space back. This is especially true in the SF area. People are complaining that they can not get by living there with $150,000 salaries, if you can believe that.

How true. I live across the bay from S.F. There are almost always free workbenches on Craigslist.
I picked up a free workbench today to break down for the old growth vertical grain fir boards on the top. The rest went to the dump but the former owner paid the dump fee just to get rid of it.
