I noticed the big 52" husky they had dropped to $498 had a big dent in the back (wouldn't affect anything though)... Kind of tempted to see how much they would discount that one.... But do I *really* need it?

Nah, wait until it is 125.03 and you can get a matching compressor too.

Grabbed a 2763 impact for $154 today. I know someone else here said they're at $140 elsewhere. I'll keep an eye out for price drops.

Could you tell us where you found it for $154? Thanks in advance.

oh grasshopper. look at one of your posts on the left side, specifically under your name a couple lines. now, look at IGN's info

also, you deleted the [/QU0TE] code that would have made your post show up properly with the quoted post. it will also link to the original post if done right

Can you tell me how to get RTV items off of the truck? I heard if they don't have to scan them into the computer, yet, you can get a discount if you get them before they hit inventory....

no idea on that. Any item scanned RTV is supposed to be sticker-ed & sent back. If they aren't sending it back, then they aren't following policy, which I'm sure can cause some strange exceptions.

The other issue would be if you did return something you hoped would be on discount, that items needs to be in stock at that store & on the clearance schedule. Otherwise, if you did manage to get a hold of it, it would ring up at the regular price, until the item finally gets on clearance pricing schedule, which could be any amount of time. BUT, if that item was supposed to be sent back, the store won't show any OH (on-hand) quantity, so the item may never go to clearance (at least through the typical automated ways).

maybe that helps, probably not :dunno:

Found 24" Lithonia under cabinets at $6.33 (745976291952)

Also picked up a few Commercial Electric 6" round LED priced at 23.06. I needed them anyway but was thinking they would be at .03 with a date of 12/16/16.

In my area often electrical dept stuff drops much much slower. Stinks.

Found the 200 piece husky tool set in metal box at my local HD in Brooklyn on DeKalb. A little searching in the rafters, and I had located the pallet with 12 of them. Bought 1 for $50.04

Has anyone seen the M18 hammer drill bottom? Milwaukee 2612-20. My store has two at $169 right now but I wonder where they stop (other than a penny)?

I know you included the model #, but I almost offered mine up before looking up that is the Rotary hammer drill. I saw one yellow tagged last week, but don't see a future in my tool collection. I'll take a gander this week at the price. I want to say it was $13x

I haven't been watching those recently, but I know a few stores had them on clearance last spring/summer. I located a stash at one store when they were at $125 and sat on them till they dropped to $90. I'm certain I saw them go at least one level lower in the PCA, but can't remember the exact amount.

Hey guy thanks for heads up. I usually stick to stores in Central Jersey where I live but now I will have to start heading to Brooklyn / Queens area since pallets are so plentiful there.

My sister lives in Brooklyn, but I can only imagine her reaction when I ask her to go buy it for me. Doubt she will take that on the subway :wtf:

Also my store now shows the 2728-21HD big boy new Fuel blower 9.0 kit as "clearance" at $269 which appears to be a whole $10 under retail. But my store has never had any Milwaukee OPE (unless you count the small M18 blower), and I'm sure they'll bring it in soon as the DeWalt OPE and Echo got an end cap last year.

Another "don't ask why HD does anything" example.

Have you opened it? What type of tool tray/plastic tray does it have for the tools? Flimsy? Decent? I've seen several up in the rafters and thought about one as a gift but figured the plastic tool holding trays were probably junk.

No, didn't get around that yet. Gotta make room in the apartment tool closet. Figured this would be my home kit. (My motorcycle garage is a shared setup about 20min away with the big stuff)

Get some cheap tube of silicone caulking, great stuff foam, stuff like that and fill in the underneath, let it cure and that will add a lot of strength to it.

The 4 hours of traffic and tolls are likely not worth the headache in any capactiy, which is why I don't go to CNJ

So here's an oddity, I got a penny (sorta) at the instruction of an employee today.

This shows as a 2-pack of 6.5" blades on the website
http://m.homedepot.com/p/Avanti-Pro...H=RV-_-rv_mobileweb_rr-2-_-NA-_-301321901-_-N

I needed some so I went to my store and for some reason allowed an employee to help me, probably 'cause I buy woodworking **** once every 10 years.

I told him I wanted this 2-pack I had seen on the website and he wasn't aware of a 2-pack -- and indeed, it doesn't exist. In-store this item is a single, verified by SKU. I showed him my phone where the web clearly shows it as a 2-pack and says my store has 60 in stock. MOD instructed cashier to ring up one blade regular price and the second at a penny. Works for me.

Interesting, it says there are some at my store. I typically buy Italian Diablo blades, but these 6.5" avanti's (chinese IIRC) will fit in my cordless saw I think.
