I have several Wizard 1/2" drive sockets and a Wizard 1/2" drive ratchet and was wondering if there is any interest in them?

I believe Wizzard was Western Auto. I cleaned up a set for one of my sons. They are cool looking, but I don't know if there is any interest in them.

I have no use for them and am wanting to sell. I also have several Wizard hand wrenches.

Get you some posts (I don't remember how many it is), then post them in the classifieds.

I worked for Western Auto in '68 and '69 in Kansas City. They were a great company to work for. Ditto on posting them in the classifieds.

Wizard tools are not particularly rare, but not as common as most vintage US-made tool brands. A few folks seek them out, but prices are pretty low unless they are mint or NOS.

These are obviously not examples of the Western Auto Store brand tools being referred to above, but I was looking for a place to put these photos, and this thread subject actually works well for Wakefield's much earlier tools, too. :)

I found the No. 19 monkey wrench at a flea market today. The PATENTS PENDING marking dates it to 1919, when the patent was applied for, to Nov 14, 1922, when the patent (1,435,548) was granted. After that, the patent date is stamped on them.

I found the 6 inch combination slip-joints last year. I don't know when they were made, but they have a very thin profile.

I am fond of the logo.
