An update is rather overdue as there's been lots happening so time to catch everyone up.
Power has finally been run to the shed, still waiting for the power company to hook up 3phase but the existing single phase has been sent down to the shed. The house circuit breakers have been upgraded to 3phase in readiness for when everything can be hooked up. A distribution board has been installed in the shed. Currently only a single power point in the shed, mounted in the board. I will install lights and power points at a later date when 3 phase is hooked up.

The shed storm water has been plumbed up to the new water tanks. The two tanks are slightly different lengths to fit the spaces they occupy. Total capacity across the two tanks is just shy of 10,000 litres. Both tanks have been plumbed together with an equaliser line so can both be utilised if I only take water from one side. Overflow from the tanks goes out to the rear lane behind the shed. I had the tanks made in colour bond in the same colour as the shed walls. As they're on the northern wall they will also give a bit of insulation to the shed from the sun.

Showing how they're plumbed up. Each tank has two outlets, one facing into the backyard for using the water and one facing the fence for the equaliser, can just see the blueline equaliser in the shadow.

I've coated the floor of the shed with 3 coats of epoxy. I gave the floor a thorough cleaning before grinding and coating. I used 3 coats of a Jotun product called Jotacote 605. Product had been recommended to me a few times, was well priced and easily available where I am.
The floor was harder to grind than I expected. i had to return to the hire shop to pick up a courser grinding disc as the first one they provided was struggling to cut through. After grinding you could see a pattern in the floor due to high and low spots but all the floor had been scoured by the grinder.

Three coats of epoxy were used, the first two were thinned down 5% and did soak into the concrete. After two coats you could still faintly see the pattern left after grinding. Third coat i didn't thin and laid on thick, gave a nice consistent finish to the floor. Really happy with how it turned out and should last me a long time. Was hard to take good photos of though, but here's my best couple of shots.

I've picked up a few new things for the shed; first up is a couple of new signs. I had the signs made up by kenfab off this forum, he was really good to work with, he plasma cut the signs and organised for them to be powder coated. I still need to get round to installing the signs though

And the new toy! Friends have been bugging me for ages to get a motorbike and I've slowly been taking to the idea. After a fair bit if looking around I ended up picking up this '81 R65LS which has been well looked after. Had to pick a bike that was Lams approved and it had to be an aircooled boxer engine bike to fit in with its new shed mates, so the airhead BMWs were a good fit for me.
