Water not dispensing but ice is still being made.
Current Fridge: Samsung (RX26XAERS) French Door w Freezer on bottom
Ice maker in the top and dispenses through the door ice and water.
Ice would continue to be made and my water dispenser would not dispense anything for the past 2 weeks. I keep my fridge pretty cold, usually 34-36 degrees. So I followed along with a few different Fix-Its that I found while using google, I pulled the fridge out to hear if the inlet water valve was making any noise, and it was. New filter. Pulled the line from the water valve to the front door spigot, and gave it a blow and could hear air come out front. So I knew all my components were good now. Come to find out my water reservoir is located inside of my fridge and it was frozen. I have had pools of water that turned to ice in the bottom over the past year or so a couple of times. Not really sure how it actually leaked out, but we took a hair dryer to the reservoir and made everything work again. No need to call a service repairman!
Didn't think I had to defrost one of these newer refrigerators!
I figured I should include the model number so someone else searching for the fix, they may find it.
