Might be OOS and they are just waiting on a shipment of more. Doesn't hurt to call the local store and ask.

I just picked up some hammer handles that got delivered to my Hometown store, checked my account and shows "picked up"...

I realize this isn't a "deal" post and it'll probably upset the purists, but is anyone else having issues with orders processing?

My magnet pickup tool was ordered Wednesday from my local store. It's still "processing". I guess the only thing I can think of is it's out of stock there.. If nothing changes by Tuesday, I'll give them a call.

I've tried to order something for the past four days. I have $8.03 in points and every time I try to redeem them I get an error message saying something went wrong on Sear's end. It's not a big enough deal to call their help line but I would think they could fix this by now! Maybe they don't want to fix it. LOL!

Try redeeming $8.02, I've had this problem before and that trick worked for me.

Sears probably hit their limit. Don't even have 8.03 left in the bank to give credit points for.

Yep, the pliers are slim pickings around here as well now. I noticed online that the clearance prices are no longer nearly as good. I'm glad I stocked up a couple of weeks ago. I've had great luck with these pliers and at this price, they are a no brainer.

I've been to a couple of stores recently and the in-store prices haven't been great. I've also noticed that all the new pliers are on an endcap rather than with the old stock.

Anyone get one of those $5/$10/$15 mystery cards in-store? Mine revealed only $5 on the receipt, and the cashier admitted he hasn't seen any customer get one for $10 or $15.

$5 Mystery Award Card when you spend $50 or more, exclusive of sales tax, in one (1) single transaction. Shop Your Way Members may get up to $15. To obtain a Mystery Award Card without making a purchase, see below. Offer valid for qualifying purchase in-store and online between 6/11/17 and 6/18/17 only. Mystery Award Cards are valid and may only be redeemed in-store and online between 6/19/17 and 7/1/17 except where prohibited by law. Limit of two (2) Mystery Award Cards valued at $10 or $15 per Shop Your Way Member. Offer good while Mystery Card Award quantities last.

Qualifying online purchases will receive an eAward card via email no later than 6/19/17. eAward cards do not expire.

Nice find! If you go through shopyourway.com to the partners section, you can get 10% back on the groupon purchase, making this an even sweeter deal.

Woodturner9..... you still haven't told us the location on that new Sears Full-Line store near you. Can you tell us where it is?

Craftsman 7 Piece Ball-End T-Handle Hex Sets, Metric and Standard are down to $19.99 as a hot buy. Usual sale price, but I haven't seen these discounted in awhile:

http://www.sears.com/craftsman-7-pc...lerId=SEARS&prdNo=50&blockNo=50&blockType=G50

http://www.sears.com/craftsman-7-pc...lerId=SEARS&prdNo=41&blockNo=41&blockType=G41

If anyone has any tips on how to store these, I'd love to hear it. They are tough to fit in a drawer efficiently.

I just bought one of these, and was surprised to see the limited stores where it is valid - I will have to drive past a couple of Sears Hardware stores and two full line Sears to get to the closest place the voucher is valid. I went back to look and can't see anything before purchase warning that it isn't valid in all stores, as the "Valid in-store only at Sears located in..." wording suggests. I should be in the area, so no big deal for me, but thought it worth letting people know! Thanks for posting.

Promo codes work on that Groupon, but note that their promo codes are often account-specific. Currently I have a 20% off on my account.

Can you post what stores it's valid at?

I can, but not really relevant for you - it listed four stores in the Houston area -
Main street (downtown, 30 miles from my zip code),
mall of the mainland (60 miles south),
Port Arthur (120+ miles east)
Lufkin (150 miles north east)

I may try to use it at the local store, but the voucher clearly says "redeem at 4 locations"

I'm confused about this as well.

How do you figure out where it is good at? It doesn't say above that you would have to drive past a full Mall type sears store?

I had a 50% (max discount of $25) coupon code DEAL50, it dropped the cost of the $100 credit to $45. Not bad!

I had no idea it would list specific stores when I bought it. I still can't see anything in the purchase page about limited stores. It says not valid at Outlet etc. but that's to be expected. I have a clamp to pick up at the local Sears Hardware store so I will see if I can use it there. I can't get there until tomorrow, and I think that the offer ends tonight on Groupon, so probably too late to help anyone. It wouldn't matter if it was valid online, but I have already tried the code on the website and it said in-store only.

I called my Local store. They said they have used Groupon coupons before.

But here's the deal. It looks like it is questionable about how good this deal will be in application, especially considering the exclusions(ie clearance items).

I asked about some Torque wrenches.

They had Digiclick's for $119 for the 25-250 in-lb

I told them they were online for $59.99, do they honor that. NO. They then said on sale for $109

Good news though, for Sears at least, I ended up ordering 2 Digiclicks and delivered to store.

Think I'll punt on what should be a great coupon.

I would be interested in the "below" part about getting one without a purchase...

I figured I'd get a reply that they ran out or something. If you succeed, let us know. :fingersx:

I was in the Fayetteville, AR store today. They had the 8" drill press on the bottom shelf with no price. I asked for a price check and it scanned for $24. With points I got it out the door for $14.

I purchased the Groupon deal a few days ago - $39.99 for $60 credit. Used it over the weekend while visiting family in Arizona as the local store was running a 20% off sale on all tools. They also had quite a few WF pliers sets on clearance at 50% off. There was no additional discount on clearance items, and the Groupon voucher doesn't work on clearance items. I picked up a couple other items to use my voucher. The 20% off sale combined with the 30%+ savings through Groupon worked out well.

Just bought a $100 voucher and was able to use the save 20 code so it ended up costing me $55.99. I'll probably wait to use it on some sale items, or I may use it on some Knipex in store. Still a 44% savings.

Cause, They all came from those spin games things.
Would have liked the channel loc end nippers, when they were on sale, as I don't have a pair, But I don't have the c clamp vise grips either.
I had a small pair, but haven't seen them in a while.

Another 5 spins today on Wild Wins Wednesday, so hopefully you can get $0.20 x 5 = $1 in points.

There's also a new Wild Wins game (minus the "Wednesday"), but it lasts only for an hour when it appears.

Really bad guesser, huh?

Already answered, off-topic for this thread, as directed no further discussion.

A new full-line Sears store may have some deals at their grand opening event.

Hot Deals is a great place to share the location, so nearby GJ members can plan to be there for the deals.

Of course, if I'm actually a good guesser, then I expect you to to continue keeping the location a secret. :rolleyes2

Thanks for the note. I did that hourly game this morning.... it was the 8AM version at about 10:00 and got $1. I just did the 11:00AM version now and got $2.

There's a new wild wins game for $2 as for 2:00. Use the link above. The first 2,500 people win, it sounds like.

Kinda late looking at this, just got back from out of town. So does this game runs every hour on the hour? Just trying to understand how this works...

How am I going to get anything done now? I will be glued at the computer :lol_hitti

I have seen an 8:00 game, an 11:00 game and now a 2:00 game. I might have missed one, but it seems somewhat random. The games are based on Central Standard Time and they don't seem to go live right on time.

Man, I want to drive down there so bad now and see if they have more... But to drive 25 miles each way is a good way to kill a lot of time for something that probably isn't there anymore...

1. Sears may not send the mystery card to you after all of that.
2. Lets say you get the card, you most likely not going to win anything, and you are out postage cost.

Not a good deal considering you can just get free points from SYW from the comfort of your chair
