Hello all. I am looking for 25 Amp, heavy duty, single pole, single throw momentary switch online. I could probably go to a electric supplier online but I would rather order it online.

I am having no luck finding it.

Can anyone help?

What voltage spec, 12v or 120volt? You want a push button or a toggle? Inductive or resistive load? Package size? Lots of things go into specing a switch.

Maybe the intended use would help us.

Its for the HF scissor car lift. It is a 220 volt outlet. Looking for at toggle. How would I know if I need a inductive or resistive load.

A guy on youtube stated that he used a 25 Amp, heavy duty, single pole, single throw momentary switch, unfortunately that was all the information he provided.

It is for the power/hydraulic unit that runs the lift. It has a button, but I would rather have a switch to hook my finger around since it is momentary.

Open up your switch box and show what is in there now, If it is like mine it is not a single pole switch. It operates the pump and a solenoid valve to lift, and the pump and a different solenoid to lower. Unless you have a schematic and have confirmed that the utubber has the exact model I'd suggest caution.

Like the link to mcmaster shows there are a few different sizes, 19mm, 20mm, and others. If you select the correct one then it will fit your panel opening

There are 3 terminals on the back, but only 2 are being used, the third one is empty. I will take pictures tomorrow.

You figure if I googled "20 amp single pole single throw momentary switch" it would pop up. But no such luck.

Use a properly rated contactor, & a pushbutton with NO, normally open contacts

Here you go:

http://www.alliedelec.com/zf-electronics-0e14-00m0/70207613/

Almost what you want. This breaks out both the NO and NC pins for you to choose from. Rated at 25A for 120V/250V AC or 2A at 48V DC.

That being said, if you care about looks or ease of pressure then you might be better off with a slightly more complicated setup of a standard sized pushbutton, 12V wall-wart and a relay. I can diagram the circuit if you wish for the standard pushbutton driving a relay.
