Very nice hatchet!
$4.50, all SK.
Not the steal of the century but like hell if I was going to pass on them!
Thanks guys!
The 1/4" drive is smooth and feels like new. The 3/8" sometimes doesn't want to switch directions or freewheels. Soaking the guts from it in ATF now.
There are videos to disassemble the drive assembly. Just be careful as that little pin is spring loaded (obviously) so it doesn't go shooting across your garage.

(excited to find that one), Snap On Ferret, Wright, two Williams made Gun Mounting Wrenches with a couple modifications
. Almost forgot the ridiculously wide grinding wheel. What were these used for?
Nice MTF ratchet. Don't know what you paid for it but judging by the other stickers I think you deserve a you ****. I would take that one off of the forum before Todd sees it [emoji3]Trying to catch up with my finds of late. From the big flea market two Sundays ago:
All Craftsman, with a Proto socket on the breaker bar.

Dayton 3/8 Metric tray, Gearwrench adapter, misc. Snap On and Mac, Vise Grip, Cornwell obstruction wrench

Ratchets: Starrett, Duro, Williams, Milwaukee True Fit(excited to find that one), Snap On Ferret, Wright, two Williams made Gun Mounting Wrenches with a couple modifications

Milwaukee Tool Forge True Fit 1/2", 1947 dated Snap On 3/8" Ferrett-the nicest I have found, surprised by the really excellent condition. Didn't finish cleaning it but it had old black grease caked all over the head that I believe helped preserve it.

Williams items of interest: Screwdriver (with a bend, but no signs of wear or damage to cause the bend, so possibly a factory second), Pierce Arrow DOE, Gun wrenches- one is shortened and has embossed numbers that the other doesn't , the other has had the opening modified.

That case in the 5th picture. Is there any marks on it. I picked up one and it had a bunch of plomb WF items in it but was painted. I was wondering if it was plomb or not.Had a productive weekend at the fleas and garage sales!
1 - lot of Craftsman stuff: long-C breaker bar, 1/4-drive ratchet, set of 9 vintage number stamps in a wooden box (not sure if the box is originally Craftsman), 2 DOE wrenches, a 1/2-drive extension, and a total of 21 sockets from 1/4-drive to 1/2-drive, $8 for all
2 - set of mostly Proto, including a 3/8-drive set of 2 ratchets, a speeder bar, a breaker bar, and 24 sockets (mostly Proto, with a few Snap-On and Husky tossed in), $25 for the set
3 - more Proto stuff: set of 4 screwdrivers, a pair of 6-inch wire cutter, tape measure, 1/2-inch drive extension, a center punch, a combo wrench, a 1/4-drive ratchet, and 3 sockets (1 Proto and 2 Plomb), $10 for all
4 - 2 Klein pliers (a small needle nose and a 9-inch lineman's pliers), 3 screwdrivers (Amelite, WWII Stanley and Irwin), red Defiance razor knife no. 299, Westcott 10-inch curved adjustable wrench, a lathe lockdown wrench, a 6-inch Diamond adjustable, and a female-drive Frank Mossberg ratchet, all for $10
5 - misc socket stuff incl. a S-K Wayne 3/8-drive ratchet, a 100-yr-old socket for removing spark plugs (missing the thru-bar), and 17 misc sockets (incl. Blackhawk, OTC, Herbrand, Indestro, and Wright), all for $5
6 - cute little S-K set of 1/4-drive stuff, incl. a ratchet, socket extension, breaker bar, and 10 sockets (might be missing one or two), probably late 40s or 50s vintage, $8 for the set.

Dang riley you and I are in the same wavelength lately I as well have recently picked up a nice old Baldor which I cleaned up. I'm using both religiously, hope you enjoy yours as well. And take it easy during this heat that is finally hitting us. [emoji482]Final post for today:
I picked this up off CL earlier this week.
- Craftsman 3/4 HP 257.191500 Bench Grinder on Craftsman Stand
The seller was the wife of the original owner who "came down with Parkinson's" shortly after purchasing it. She stated that is was "Only used once or twice". It sure looks that way!
She listed it for $100 and I didn't hesitate to pay her asking price. Came with NOS Craftsman grinding wheel, NOS Craftsman wire wheel, and original owner's manual.
