FYI, these are 1-hr games you have to win.

You don't automatically get free points for entering, as when you see the pink Doorbuster flag on a game.

Gotcha. Thought it was one of those free points that they gave away. Now I don't feel so bad...

Yeah, that 2pm one I posted I didn't win any points, so don't feel too bad...

I've been watching for doorbuster tags today too but haven't seen any...

Is anyone getting any good surprise points lately?

I currently have this:

$7 in Surprise Points on $7 on Footwear Excludes Workboots

This could be good deal except there is no Sears around me, only the small hometown Sears that do not sell any footwear. I browsed around a bit, and most footwear are not available for store pickup.

Had an 8 off 8 in tools, when checked out in store, gave me a 7off 7 in clothes. That checkout gave me a $15 oil change (hate doing it on my 01 Volvo).

ETA...

Please disregard this as it's not the same unit as above.

Sorry!

Came across this Dewalt 20v Impact Kit for $99. Seems like a good deal since everywhere I've looked has it for over $200.

For anyone else that may want one of these and doesn't want to search Sears...

In this weeks Ace Hardware ad on the second page, they have a similar unit or the drill on sale (looks like a carry bag instead of the plastic case) for $129.99 - $30.00 with their card that you can fill the application (name, phone and email) out at the counter.

I didn't see a similar unit on the ACE ad. They had the 1/4" impact Driver and drill driver for $129. The model I purchased from Sears is 1/2" Impact. They only had one available when I was there. Asked if they had anymore in the back but they said no. Thought the price was incorrect but it rang up at $99.97. I have plenty of batteries so might sell the 2 that came with the kit.

After ordering my magnet tool on the 4th, it is finally available. When I first ordered it, it said available for pickup, but when I went there, the guy said the "promised date" was the 21st. That date was news to me because it said it was available plus my card had already been charged 2 weeks in advance. I received the ready to pickup text yesterday. Oh well. At least they didn't forget.

No big deal, I just won't order something online that I'll need to use right away.

Yeah, I've always received a text (and sometimes phone call) when my item is ready for pickup. But it's Sears, who knows what's going on with them most of the time...

i have noticed recently that the server side spam filter on my email server has started flagging about 50% of the sears email i get as spam, and moving it to the spam mailbox.

is anyone else seeing this? it has been happening for about two weeks. before then, nothing from sears or syw got tagged . . . . .

I've been getting their daily emails at my gmail account, none seem to get flagged as spam.

I saw somewhere else that Sears is closing like an additional 15 or 20 stores in the US the other day... I have no idea what the count is up to, the list just keeps growing and growing...

Hey guys, I've gotten a couple of complaints about this thead... folks are using it for general discussion rather than posting deals. Please follow our rules and don't post unless you have a deal to post. Failing to do so could end in your account losing privilidges to use the hot deals forum.

Thanks,

Ryan
