I need something like that but I'd need a pair and with microphones for communication between another person with the ear protection. Any ideas?

Tone Deep Nut Grip Sockets.

If this link works it's the pair I have. Description says you can answer calls, I've never tried to use that feature though.

Here are the tool purchases from the last month:

IRWIN Polyester Zippered Closed Tool Bag (Model# 1996703; Made in China)

I was alerted about this tool bag in the "2017 Lowes deals...thread" in the "Hot Deals" section. At one of my local Lowe's, it's being clearanced at $19.99. At some other ones, the price is $29.99. Here is a link to Lowe's for this tool bag: Lowe's. Here are some pictures:

Hows the construction on the bag? It looks pretty nice for $20

It's very heavy duty from the top dual zippers, thick polyester construction, reinforced stitching everywhere, reinforced riveted top handles, heavy gauge zipper handles, and five bottom wide feet.

If you can find it in your area for $20, I would ****** one up!

Got some freebies today. Home Depot Canada has the Milwaukee heavy duty tour going around. Ordered two high torque 1/2" impacts and two fuel grinders. One impact for me and the rest for co-workers. All come with a free 5.0 battery and charger. Pretty good deal.

Since I spent over a grand, I got a $120 credit. Spent the jist of it on the lantern, which is phenomenal. Love the light spectrum colour, and supposedly the battery life is stellar as well. It's currently charging my phone, and doing it well! Saw blades were on for $10, and the short (finally!!!!!) adapters for hex impacts I finally found. Hopefully they lock into the chuck well with my work tools. My older dewalt 18v at home doesn't engage them all the way. The tick was a promo item. Not sold on it yet, but I am sure I am not the only one since Milwaukee was giving them out for free!

Grabbed a fastback knife. Not sold on it yet. It doesn't flip open at all. It's binding and you have to manually pull it open. Which is not supposed to be needed. I'm gonna play with the screw tomorrow and see if I can't get it working better.

I've been wanting one of these jacks to toss in my jeep for a long time. Mainly for the blow molded case and the quality seemed a notch or two better than the $20 variety (which I own too). The $60 retail price put me off for a decent in store sale which came today. 30 bucks.

Per the instructions, I purged the factory air and gave it a test. I am impressed. This thing performs way better than the $20 variety. It's nice and firm and I don't think I gave more than 4 effortless pumps to get my jeep tire 3 inches off the ground and I left it there for an hour (I could have lifted it higher).

I just wish the handle was two piece for when you don't have a lot of altitude to pump. The bonus is I was able to sneak a 3/8" Harbor Freight breaker bar and lugnut socket in the case which will make roadside tire changing even easier. Turns out the HF bar chucks in the jack for a short pattern pump handle.

You need at least 5" ground clearance for this puppy so it's not going to work well will low slung vehicles.

JD What am I missing?
Sounds like a Jack?
Where is it, and where did you get it for $30.00 instead of $60.00?

Wtf, when did Photobucket block posting? Way to kill your app.

Yes the jack. Local Sears. Did the pic not come through for you? It comes in for me. Photobucket acted weird when I uploaded.
Photobucket discontinued sharing last month without notice, and locked people out of their pics unless they pay $400 a year. It's taking some time for them to go through and freeze each account. It's been wreaking havoc on a lot of sites and forums.

Not sharing, But Will we still be able to look at our pictures, and save to our computer, Or will you have to pay to do that too?

If you have a Google account set up a Google Drive. You can share photos from there. Many of the photo sharing sites have recently locked out linking to shared photos, but not Google.

If it allows you to view and save now, do it. I lucked out and was able to download all mine and delete from PB before they locked what was left up.

Ups man just dropped off a Lisle inner tie rod tool today. Wished they delivered earlier so I could have got the job done before going into work tonight. 12 HR shifts means it will have to wait for my next day off 1d82f81984b6c47cbc9290d740ba5bf1.jpg

All you guys with electric string trimmers. I'm envious that that is enough for your needs. My Stihl FS120 is down and I am stuck with a little poulan pro and I can hardly stand to use it. I am used to cutting 4 foot brush with my string trimmers.

Nice set!
I really want one of those. But the price....no ty.
Let us know how it works!

:3gears: Comes in handy even when I enjoy breaking out a torch.

I know the price is up there, but it was on sale, and I got a little more off to seal the deal.
It does what they claim it should do! We tried it out on a steel bracket I had on the bench. It took about 45 seconds to turn a little 3/8 steel rod nice and red.

I already have a 20 YO rusted out brake line / fitting to try it out on at home. Even with a full O/A torch handy, it sure will be nice not to have the open flame around other soft / burnable parts.
