Don, You had the wake-up call a few years ago and I thought your problem was addressed ? Take care of yourself my friend, lots of us here enjoy your company.
Don, you will always have an open invitation. As for the health problems, a way of telling us the pace may be too intense for our well worn machinery. Like the fine works of art we so lovingly hold dear, we must now cruise and enjoy the ride now, as we are already running the race with time. That being said, keep moving, and I know you will, but pace yourself; take care of that heart;its a good one!
Yes sir, take care. Can't put off to much when it comes to the heart. I just spent 4 days in the heart hospital because of A-Fib, my heart beats were 166bpm. So it was beating like a jack rabbit.
You're pretty good at taking care of machinery, so listen to the master mechanic working on your ticker. Just no fun to have equipment problems slow you down.
Booths and Fatburger sign look great! You sure know how to do things the right way![]()
Don, well, thats no way to end a vacation, a cruise is supposed to relax you, although 3 weeks on a ship with no tools or anything to restore could be a bit stressfull. If you need anything, if I can give you a hand, you know I'm only 45min. away, don't hesitate to call me. Love the ice cream parlour idea, although it's probably going to keep Ann busy with strawberry shakes

Don, vacations are dangerous things. I loved to travel but it has become such a stressful hassle that I dread it now.
Now that you have turned so many of us into Party Garage Junkies, you have to continue to supply us. We're happy to take smaller doses so do whatever you need to do to restore your health.

Thanks Toolfool
Thats nice to know.
You are right this is the second time they have messed with the old pumper.
The first time I was in A-Fib too but it was causing high blood pressure so they hit me with the paddles to restart the heart.
Next is a pace maker.
Our last cruise the food was not too good after the first day.Hmmm, if they give you a pace maker, can you get a turbo setting when you need to get something done?
Cruise was a disaster. Cruise companies have become used to making so much money they seem to be falling off on quality. Bad food on a cruise. Our last cruise the food was not too good after the first day.
Take care of your health. Put out a request if you need any help. Many of us live pretty close to you.
Don, all I can say is to reiterate what has already been said and that is take care
Regards
Don, Glad you made it back from the cruise, sorry about the health problems. Be sure and listen to your wife, she wants to keep you around.
Rest and let things improve.
Dwight

Get well Don, my wife is going through AFib diagnosis right now.
Hi Don,
Ruth and I just caught up with your health issues. We know that your going to follow the master mechanics plans because your lovely Bride is calling the shots. Wishing you the best. Keep things simple until your health is better.
al & ruth
Well I hope they gave you a credit or a free trip (but on different boat).
Definitely take care. I'm sure there's plenty GJ friends that would gladly help out if they could.

Don, I am thinking of you, all the BEST to you my friend!!
Don, they haven't been that invasive (yet). This is a somewhat new problem added to all the old problems. On 3rd of July, I had been feeling rally bad, more than usual. I stayed in bed for several days and still no energy, About 2:30am got up to go p before trying to go to sleep. Got up and walked about 10ft and had a sharp pain go down my back and left leg, it hurt so bad I started feeling nauseated. Then boom, I passed out and feel backwards and hit the door frame and hit my right arm and tail bone area. The wife was pretty excited, so I told her to quite down for a minute so I can figure out what all took place. Well I went to the ER and they took x-rays and all was OK. Then they noticed my heart beats were around 166bpm. So they sent me to the heart hospital. Put an I V and after a few hours it went back to normal. Spent 5 days in that time. So last week was out messing around in the barn and was sweating like a fish. Went in the house and put my blood pressure cuff on and my heartbeats were up to 175bpm. Called the Dr and he said go to the heart hospital. So they did all the same thing and it went back to normal. My problem is I don't notice it when the heart goes into A-fib, so they changed some meds and putting me on a monitor to see whats causing it. Not to the extreme you went thru yet, just meds for now. Sorry I took so much space on your spot here. Hope it fixed your a-fib.
Guess we need to be more aware of the Heartbeat's of America (Chevrolet) logo. Take care my friend!![]()
Sad to hear about your health issuesI love the new ice cream parlor and the Fat Burger sign that your working on for it...I have never seen a Johnny Rocket sign before, must be popular out west? Can't wait to see the new signs up! just another awesome addition to the Big Party Garage

Get well soon!!!
Don,
Sorry to hear about the health issues and I am confident you will get it all sorted out in good time. Also even with these little problems life tosses your way it is great to see you aren't letting it keep you completely down.
Herb,
Sorry to hear about your issues as well, take care buddy and if you need anything please let me know.

OK, getting concerned here now. Where was Ann when all this was happening?I had the neon pulled off the big Coca cola sign yesterday while I operated my fork lift, lifting the sign guy up and down. So I'm still getting things done.
Hi Don,
I read up on your activities every week, but don't comment (as I suspect a lot of people do). But, I just wanted to jump in and wish you well. I had a heart scare back in '08 so I know what an impact it can have on your life. Stay positive and rest when needed. We like you a lot around here.
Best,
-Derek
Bummer about the cruise and the heart but sounds like both ended up well.
The ice cream idea is awesome, booths look great! have fun with it!![]()

Pretty cool find there Don. Is it a target drone?
Where do you find these things ? A Rocket! Now there must be a good story behind that as to how you came across it and what it was meant to be used for as well as what plans you have for it now.
Pretty cool find there Don. Is it a target drone?
are those bullet holes in the Sprite boys arm? Must be involved in some of the earlier drive bys?
On the rocket, was that originally a drop tank before becoming what it is now?
Put the Coca Cola hat on Coops avatar and he could be a brother to Sprite boy?
Don now has a rocket...well things with the cruise line escalated quickly now didn't they.
JB
HI Don,
I wondered where you were! All of your friends down under wish you all the best and a speedy recovery.
We all look forward to seeing you in November after SEMA-sorry to hear that the cruise was no good either.
Love the ice cream parlour-look forward to that!
Stay well my friend and love to Ann
regards from Vanley also-David
I was wondering the same thing? It looks a bit like an early cruise missile or maybe an unused target drone or training model? Very cool.
Glad to hear you are feeling better.
That is some rocket.
My guess is it was a part of the original sign. But the more I look at it, it has control surfaces so it must have been a flyable drone or missile.
Looks like the target drones used by the Air Force just west of here.
Don, I hope the rocket gets the proper treatment.
Also, you better take it easy or I'll have to move in. My bags are half way packed. [emoji2]

Oh, you shouldn't have shown Don that sign. Now he has to have one.
Just catching up here, Don. Glad to hear your on your feet (a bit anyway). Tell Ann I agree with her policing your activity because I know you'd be hard at it otherwise.
Do take care.
Hi Don
Hope you get back to your old self soon. Don't forget to use your helper more while you get your strength back, supervise him instead of helping him.
Terry
