Saw a new low today...milwaukee rep rolling away the Milwaukee finishing nailers that just dropped. Where does he go? He stashes them behind the milwaukee band saws a few rows over. Hope he isn't looking for them later, lol.
Do you know sku? I know sku ending in 957 went to .03 pricing couple weeks ago

My Milwaukee rep gave me a 2 pack of 12v 4ah batteries yesterday for buying the finishing nailers. :rocker:

I picked up 3 work lights and a crown stapler.

Somebody beat me to the Milwaukee nail guns.

Those 2743s are hard to find around here, almost non-existent (wonder if the stores near me ever carried it?)

The 16 ga straight nailers were pretty cleared out last month

Plenty of brad nailers around but I aint payin 285.00 for it.

I also know for a fact that there are ways to search clearance inventory without being on a computer in the store so keep that in mind.

Probably how the guy with the trunk full of nailers does it...

I wish I knew more but unfortunately I don't. Just have seen pulls from inventory. What I have seen though shows the item quantity, location and if it is on clearance but does not show the clearance price. So there is some legwork to do still in store.

After seeing the post about the Weber Spirit several weeks ago, I started looking for some during the middle of last week.

Locally, I was able to find two Spirit 310's on display that were mislabeled. Unfortunately they showed 0 in the PCA and were still $199. I didn't get any of them bc I was still determined to find them at $74.

I also found one older Genesis for $150 outside that was tucked away in a corner with a bunch of other old grill. It was covered in dust and looked like it had been there for at least a year. For some reason I decided not to take it right then.

I was able to find a total of 4 Spirit 210's and 4 Spirit 310's in the PCA for $74 in 4 stores in a city about 1.5 hours away. Also found a store with 6 Weber Performer Premiums and another with 2 in the same city for $100. I planned to make a run up there last Friday.

Spirit 210: 1000018442
Spirit 310: 1000018443
Performer Premium: 1000982037

On Friday, I decided to be lazy and not go. I did check to make sure they were still there on the PCA at a nearby store and decided to go on Saturday.

I checked the PCA before leaving and saw that the Spirits were still there. I switched to the store with the Performer Premiums and saw that they had dropped to $78. The store with 6 had an inventory of -2 and the store with 2 had 0. I definitely screwed that one up, but decided to still go for the Spirits.

Drove over 300 miles round trip and didn't find a single one.

The next day I decided to finally go get the older Genesis I had found a few days prior. As soon as I entered the store I saw a few grills up front with a big clearance sign that said "Up to 80% off!!!!" The Genesis was nowhere to be found.

This same store had one of the Spirit 310's for $199 and I decided I was going to get it. I couldn't find it either so I checked the PCA and saw that it had dropped to $74 but showed 0 in inventory.

After screwing my self out of so many grills in the span of only a few days, I decided to go grab the only other one I had seen. It was still there and still $199.

I was happy to grab one of the 210's for $160 back in June, that's after spending about 5 hrs going to 5 stores. local store showed 3 in-stock but nowhere to be found. I passed on the displays, they were in horrible condition.

One of the display's I found was outside and looked pretty rough. The one I ended up getting was inside and I couldn't find any big scratches/dents on it.

Since I'm keeping this one for myself, I'm planning on trying to get a price adjustment at one of the stores that has them for $74. Not holding my breath though.

Don't trust the inventory numbers in the PCA, they are usually off by at least 1-5 and it could go in either direction.

Kinda deflating.

Inside job. Someone working for home depot has inside info on price drops (maybe a DM?) and has a 2nd income paying someone to empty out stores while keeping anonymous themselves.

I was able to get on a computer at the Pro Desk last night and was looking at some Milwaukee items. I saw the M18 radio/charger for like $78 (?), the M18 spotlight I posted earlier for $50, and the M18 18g nailer for $98. An employee that works there came up behind me and asked if I needed any help and I told him no. He kept asking what I was looking for and just stood over my shoulder the whole time, so I wasnt able to take any pictures or dig any deeper on clearance items.

I do know this is possible as I have received a list before from a search of a specific item number. It only shows stores and if its clearance and inventory. You still need to get on a computer and check the store price but thats much easier now with being able to switch. It was a big help when you couldn't switch store numbers but still helpful so you don't have to go down a long list of store numbers.

An employee stood over my shoulder "once" and harassed me about using the computer. I talked to the ASM, employee couldn't sit down for a week after the a$$ chewing he got.

It's a public computer, tell him you do not need assistance. If they persist, ask them to leave you alone. If they persist, take it up with their boss.

I take pics all the time with employees around.

Heck I've been known to take employees home after they come up behind me on the PCA, not to mention the clearance items I find as well.

I know but it seems especially off with the grills. The only reason I went was bc 2 of the stores have always been dead on with there inventory.

Four stores and a total of 8 grills in the PCA. I would have bet my truck on being able to find at least one.

The store that had the 6 Performer Premiums is ****** and I figured it was a toss up if they were actually there. The fact that inventory went from 6 to -2 makes me sure there was at least two there.

I'm Asian so I guess it's ok to say that he was Asian as well. Older, maybe in his 50s but and ABC. He mentioned the 957 was a penny and was kind of a **** about it, saying "you snooze you lose"

Lol.

Definitely knew what he was doing and where stuff was at. I think I must have just missed out on inventory nearby.

Probably the "asians" we hear about on other forums going in and buying up inventory like laptops, iPhones, etc.

Wonder how his "boss" gets the info? Maybe he's one of these "old schoolers" mentioned.

Definitely a business... 10-15 stores a day visited and knows what to get, price knowledge... Organized too.. They must have somebody on the inside.. Can't compete with that if they are doing it full time.

We'll.. Also could be that it was posted on SD yesterday.. so the SD flippers are on it too... I keep saying that Posting on SD is the death of the deal. Which sometimes originate from postings here.

You can't have a brain in your head and think posting on slickdeals is a good idea. That site has so much traffic, even big retailers like dicks, HD, Lowes, amazon, etc. can be wiped out of a product in less than an hour (if the deal is good enough).

Thats not even a requirement, lol

SlickDeals is turning into eBay....anything posted people just assume its the greatest ever and fight fight fight for it. They think about it afterwards (thats literally an unwritten motto there....buy first, ask questions later)

Unfortunately thats the world we live in...post there (or even here) and you just end up shooting yourself in the foot for being the nice guy.

I have a 9-5 job and 99% of the time I cant just up and leave to go buy a deal, so if I post it, there is a great chance that it will be gone by the time I can actually get to it.

You can't access the price checker found in the store from outside the store. It's only local to that network.

Was lucky enough to land 2 Milwaukee M18 Brad nailers. Got each one from different stores. The 15ga angle nailers are marked down to $100.03 havent been able to find one though.

Also snagged a Husky 27" metallic tool cabinet for $45. Been waiting for that thing to drop forever. Now just have to wait for the top to drop...

Personally I think he's a lone wolf and member to the secret forums. Can't imagine he's getting paid minimum wage to go out and grab clearance deals, and why wouldn't he keep some for himself for use/resell? Unless it's a family pawn-shop like business, and his boss is really his wife.

I thought it was just hobbyists doing this, ***** that you're in his turf, no wonder you can't find anything good at your local HDs. Wait, there's a shortage on iphones and laptops now? Lol wtf.
