Hey Shorty
I see a couple of old stools that would go great in my indoor gas station.

I spent this afternoon cleaning out one of my cabinets and it's amazing what you discover that you bought long time ago for something and lost it before you used it lol.

Hey Shorty. I can't believe you've managed to get all that done with the heat and all. You are a trooper for sure. All I hear from the rest of the group is a lot of whining.:spit:

Looking great! Perfect place for that Lista. Everyone should have storage near their DP.

Ok FL guys, let's send Dan this post when he has 4' snow and it's around 2 deg up by home and we're still in the 80's:beer::beer:

Don & Hugo

Those are nice stools. If you send me a round trip plane ticket, I'll personally deliver to you as my gift. Let me know if you need my address to send tickets to. LOL.

Nothing much at all... I'm in full lurking mood lately.

Dan most of us have been working, enjoying the Florida climate whereas one person has been saying "it's to hot, I wanna take a nap" G wiz, how many naps can one take? LMAO.

Craig, we had a cold snap here the other day when the storms were blowing through. It was 77*F and 90% humidity at noon. Almost too cold to go outside.

Man, that is a cold snap, I'm concerned that my thermometers are going to burn out the 8's and 9's as they never seem to change much.

Hell, I'll probably turn the air off for what you had there.:lol_hitti

10 years? I hope not but you might not be far of. It has only taken 6 yrs to fill the place up and generate 949 projects. They were operational for 9 years in my last shop.

This picture is for them since they spied the stools in one of the other photos. lol

Yesterday was a productive day (part 1). I was going to do an oil change on the Mrs. Car but my mom's stuff wouldn't let me pull in far enough to use lift. Off to the quickie lube. Took her car back, got my trailer so I could pick up mom's W/D from her now rental house. So where in the world our those supposed to go?

To make more room, time for these old fangle picture boxes to go to the recyclers.

You've heard "when pigs fly", how about when toolboxes fly? Time to put the crane to use. 5d44622ed1e73c002d8aaee35a76a829.jpg
I'm glad the crane works unlike Christine, the $4000 order picker.
Other things went up into the loft which allowed the W/D to fit along with the SL.
While in the cleaning, rearranging mode, I wanted to clean up this area. The big **** sign is blocking my cleaning and paint storage cabinet.

And the crane to the rescue again. This will be going to the swap meet in November. 9d08761172aad53b8be90d0734025fea.jpg

Bret

Thank you. Yes that is a Noid. Funny story about that. My girlfriend at the time and myself were walking out of the California State Fair and there was a toss the softball in the milk can game. I diligently aimed and missed twice. Handed last ball to my girlfriend, she just tossed it and swish. I won a Noid!

You build on, of course.

But he'll have it all cleaned out before it's full.:willy_nil

It is a nice box. Thank you.

The loft, what Andy said. Only have three more totes to go up and I'm done. Then as time permits, I will start the purge process. No building on. I did have a pleasant surprise yesterday when visiting the new house. I checked out the attic space and there is probably a 8'x 40' attic deck. With that much space, 6+ holiday totes will leave the shop and go into the attic along with other stuff.

Part 2 of Saturday's done list.

I've had this new bin for several years and never decided how I wanted to use it. Couple of days ago the dim lightbulb turned on and I had a plan, small automotive parts. 7fe5b9bcb4945f6feaa7bb676c564479.jpg150ea784eaf9db427f45d50935c5f316.jpgc7b3782dd4183497834812b04358c87a.jpg
As 1/2 Cup would say another project done and dusted.

While my wife help shuttle her stuff up into the loft, she "mentioned" the difficulty in stepping onto the ladder stairs. Putting it off long enough, I found a scrap 2x4 and mounted it to the joist. 98b1181f759adc3be20f199d3740abb4.jpg
This post does make it a lot better when traversing the stairs but the unfinished cap didn't feel good. In keeping with GJ rules, I broke out the router for a quick pass. Much better. 2e50a6cc93da3d96624b1341c32c1783.jpg

A few more small things were done so felt good about the day. My neighbor was installing a aftermarket radiator in his 56 custom and needed some lower brackets.
067b78b9ce979c740dec908d78b5f362.jpg
I cut some pieces with the portable bandsaw, bent a S curve in brackets and deburred the pieces with a 3m EXP wheel. I love that thing.
Also, as The FC Assistant Undersecretary of Safety, I thought it was time for another lesson in shop safety. Don't get in a hurry!!! Don't use dull blades!!! 576ed235885d3bd17919f7faaf256033.jpg
Luckily it wasn't much more than a paper cut

Shorty, that is a pretty extreme way to cool off. Most of us just sweat. Hope you had some shoprags and duck tape handy.

So it looks like Shorty is luring his wife up the hayloft:lol_hitti

That's a hell of a big piece of paper! Hope your hand is ok. So are you going for the blood red look on your floor?

OK... is it just me or does the blood look like its giving back "the finger!" This might explain some of those answers I gave to the Rorschach tests in Psych class in college!
