My reliable ball-style Craftsman air chuck didn't work on my new wheels (it is too bulky), so I got a different style from Northern Tool. It is very simple, and is a dual head model (which I don't need). I find it to be very unreliable...often I need to try to engage it on the stem several times before it makes the right connection with the pin and air actually flows in to the tire...this is very annoying to me!
Can anyone recommend "the ultimate" air chuck? I'm not looking for gimmicks, or even a built-in gauge (I have my Longacre for that), but I am looking for something with a compact head, and that is high quality and very reliable.
