A local Ace hardware should have wire wheels in 4" diameter. Try Amazon for the deburring wheels?

Anyone know how the inner guards come off? Last thing I want to do is break this thing.

This not my grinder, but it is listed in the Grand Rapids, MI CL.
I have experience with vintage Craftsman Block style bench grinders; but, I have not seen a Craftsman as massive as this one.

Does this count? Found it under a pile of junk at an indoor flea market. $10. After putting oil in it (it was bone dry) and making a tool rest, it works great. No markings of any kind, I have no idea who made it or when. The nut that holds the wheel on is 25/32 (finally a use for that old wrench haha)
I have the same grinder in the same color. It's an outstanding grinder. I'd put it up there with the best of them.

There is a similar one that just showed up for sale in Connecticut this week. I bet it's made by the same mfg.

The Black and Decker keeps spinning for over 2 minutes when you shut it off, the Delta about 40 seconds.
This is my second one of these beautifully made Craftsman grinders that I found. Don't let the fact that it is rated at 1/3 hp fool you. this sucker weighs like 80 lbs and it is a BIG grinder.
I found this one in NY, paid $75 for it.
For those of you who haven't seen one of these before notice how the work lights are cast into the side shields. Just a work of art![]()
ALL: sorry for the bad picture, but picked up this one today and i think it had more of a stand or some other part of it underneath it. i can set it in a vise and turn it so it might actually work.
anybody own or see one of these? ask if you want better pics too cause i'm able to do that if needed.
cheers

Scored this gem at the flea market today, runs like a top, the lights in the shields even work!
