There you go.

It penny in my entire area so you lucked out. Now that it penny the ones with red/khaki tape are appearing on the floor.

Thought it was the shady store manager covering them up but looks like it was being taped from warehouses.

I got 2 at the discount in July on old sku. They had some more and when I went back the next day they updated the skus on the pallet. It's in overhead so I can't see the stickers that are still on box.

Is there any physical difference on the toolboxes themselves? I can't tell on the units that are already assembled if they're the old or new sku. One HD near me is slow and has dust on the top of some assembled units.

Of course there weren't any in there.
I went to get dome stuff from the lumber department and in a corner I found the Ryobi ... of course there wasn't any reason for it to be there but there it was ...'
Took it to the cashier to figure out the price and the cashier told me he couldn't do it because of this ...

Should have taken it to Customer Service. Yellow tag and box both say model P2035. With that, all hey gotta do is punch in the sku on the yellow sticker. I'd say to go back, if you really wanted it, but the box is probably nowhere to be found at this point.

I would have taken the yellow tag (since there were none left) and slapped it on the box. When they try to ring it up they can just type the SKU.

The few my store has of the Milwaukee are sitting in the front display area setup. I've noticed over time they keep updating the SKU of the tag with the $698 price.

When some florescent T8's I wanted pennied, they took a sharpie to the barcode (and even cut some off), then used those store-only "This item only ***" stickers on them, starting back at 25% off... I waited and waited and eventually they went back to 75% off and I grabbed a 30pk for $19. :)

ive got a store that does that too.

The $40 hedge trimmer makes me want to do some hunting...

My local store had the $17 plastic 4-shelf storage for $4.50 in clearance. I bought it because, well, it's a $4 shelf.

hit refresh in the browser.

there's one in the window/door custom order area. customer service area. pro desk area. kitchen/appliance area.

top section in the menu says "public". and that's all you need to say if asked. "so, what does it mean here where it says, public?"

In that picture it looks like he searched for Dewalt, then clicked filter, and selected clearance.

So I guess the Dewalt box deal is store dependent?

while i am sure that some clearance decisions are made at the corporate level (deciding to stop carrying a line, or flush out stock in anticipation of a new version) i think a lot of these clearance deals are the result of a more local decision about what is selling, and what isn't, and the worth of keeping it around.

as an example, those milwaukee 9AH battery starter kits with the sawzall or circular saw. the promotion is long over, and if a store has a bunch, they dont want to be clogging up the shelves with them, so they will start marking them down to flush them out. things like rolling tool chests take up a lot of room, when they figure out that they have too many, or sales have declined to nothing (everyone who wanted one has one, or the "season" is past, because people buy those things in the spring when they are getting back into the garage, not the fall when they are packing it all up, or whatever), and they decide to move them out.

so, yes, a lot of those kinds of decisions seem to be local, which is why it is important to either include your location in your account, so it shows with your posts, or to indicate where you are when you post deals like these. "around here" is not useful if we dont know where you are. . . . . .

My store in NJ has the DeWALT 60v Flexvolt table saw for $199.50 for a bare tool, outside of the box with no battery or charger (maybe a display model). They also have one in box for $350.00 with battery and charger. Which is the better deal? I already have the Flexvolt miter saw and circular saw so I have chargers and batteries.

One thing I have not been able to figure out is how to filter "in stock" items? I usually end up with a list of clearance items with 0.0 qty on hand. What's the way around this?

PM me if it's a big secret :D

Is that if you buy it at full price though ($499)? The 6Ah batteries can be had brand new in package on eBay for like $70ish

I was worried about getting an 8 1/2 table saw vs a 10in, what do you use it for at work? How was the battery life?

Been looking for a 2nd drill (to avoid bit swapping so much), saw a few maybes.

I'm sure the dremel stuff is old news, but the quantity listed was exciting... Until I failed to locate it. Probably a full pallet hiding in some wacky place. Any insight into the nature of this deal? Pricing error maybe?

Also, what in the world is the issue with the posting of images here? I could not get the orientation correct... and I'm not computer challenged.

I've noticed sometimes clearance items in the PCA won't have the yellow box even though it is a clearance price... No idea what is going on.

As for those dremels, I would look up at the zillions of boxes in the tools area for that SKU, I'm sure there is a box full of them hiding somewhere just waiting for you!

If I remember correctly, that Dremel sku, and price, goes to a single little accessory, not what's shown in PCA. Been like that for a loooooooooooooooong time.

FYI that dremel kit is $189...not $1.89

For the image upload from a smart phone you need to edit the picture, rotate it 90 degrees, save it, then rotate it back to the correct orientation and it will upload properly. Total PITA.
