I put the blade on the 4 wheeler and checked the tractor over so I am ready for my 1/2 mile driveway.

Built a spring compressing tool, and installed the spring retainer for my low-rev clutch.

Actually, that was yesterday, today I've got the low rev clutch steels & frictions in place and I'm starting to stack rotating parts inside the case.

Replaced the OEM battery on Mrs. LS6's '14 CR-V. That thing is teeny! 410 CCA/50 min RC. Now wonder it only lasted 4 years...

SWMBO is painting the bathroom (again... Back to a prior color...) She wanted bead board behind the toilet, so I cut those and a top trip piece last night. I'm having then pre-paint them and I'l mostly glue them in place later today.

Other than that it's been put stuff away all week (recovery from many many camp gear and other projects this summer)

been back working on my stepdaughters '05 buick again...

2 weeks ago i replaced the radiator that decided to start leaking when she took the car in for emissions testing...

she's been back to test it for emissios 2 times since then, and been rejected because the monitors havent reset...

sometime last week (without my knowledge) the CEL came on. i took the car over to my GM buddy, he plugged in his techII and found the cause of the CEL.

bad thermostat

picked up the parts yesterday afternoon, took the day off work and tore into it this morning...
bad thermostat? nahhhh how 'bout NO thermostat !!:eyecrazy:

got that taken care of and found the throttle body gasket with a piece missing, and the void packed full of silicone :willy_nil

got it finished a couple hours ago, and took it for a drive. coolant temp is steady, no fluctuation now....just gotta clear the CEL and put some more miles on it to get the monitors to reset..

Is there a drive cycle that needs to be completed? I know my 00' Cadillac Deville had one that could be a real bear.

Did some more cleaning.... I have a work table that came with the house that had a radial arm saw built into it. I took the table apart today and removed the saw, I’ll be giving it away ... table back in place and way more usable now!

Dug out all my electrical supplies, don't think I have to go to Home Depot until it's final hookup to the breaker box. Found 3 way lighted switches, occupancy switches and a fresh roll of 14/2 for wiring up my basement tv room.

Changed out the mirrors on my ATV. The plastic ones attached to the fairing kept coming loose so I went back to the traditional handlebar mounted style.

I'm inside and warm now but a little bit ago I finally started installing insulation in the garage. It is going to be a long road as it's already been almost five years but I am studding out between the posts with 2x4's and will put up plywood leaving the posts exposed. Kind of a rustic look, the plywood will be painted white. Not sure why the bare stud pic is sideways, 2x4's are book shelved.

Changed the oil in the Wheel Horse garden tractors. The mower tractor got its end of season fresh oil and gas drain and the snow plow tractor got fresh oil. Next weekend will be some other maintenance and oil change on the generator.

Replaced the Cab Fresh in the Malibu and reset 2 mousie snaps. 1 was "Occupied", 1 was not. I'm getting better at baiting them...

ALL: I started a thread in FREE PARKING on the hyperlinks a few months ago cause i noticed the links on some of my posts and didn't want members clicking on them and going to some random sites. the owners of GJ actually make a little money by having these links in our posts so that's ok by me and thought some of you might like to know it's not a SPAMMER OR MALICIOUS person doing it to us.

CARRY ON!!
