Platonic - there you go again providing yet another eye opener BF is almost upon us and I️ wonder if any of these lighting places will throw out some deals. I️ guess I️ could wait another couple of weeks to purchase, I’m just getting sick of looking at all these fixtures siting in my garage waiting to go up. You the man yet again, thank you sir for all the help it’s much appreciated.
Only issues I know of are with LED ballast compatable bulbs, which I've always thought was a bad idea.
Search undercabinet lighting for light under shelf. Too many options including low cost corded linkable fixtures to get into here.
Worth it?
thank you, Yes they are using the same program that you recommended. I was just confused why they recommend 4500 lumens? that seems like a lot. I do like the lay out you did.pointer80 - I'm not sure what you're asking. I also don't know what the second image is supposed to tell me. That layout is the same Visual program I've linked to in the past here. You could do that yourself. If you want less light that's certainly your option. Recommended footcandles @ 30" workplane for automotive maintenance and machine repair is 93. The layout I did for you was 101fc in an empty room. As you fill the room with stuff you will lose reflected light and fc @ workplane will drop quite a bit. Not sure if this answers your question.
