I got an email from customer service that an item was delayed. NBD. I have to contact them via phone or email to accept the delay (4 days), which is a little weird but whatever. When I emailed customer service at the address they provided, it kicked back a message that the inbox was full and my message could not be delivered. Pretty deluxe....

Good luck with that call. It took me 45 minutes to get through last week. IF you do get through, ask them to make sure all of your other orders ok. The lady I spoke with found another order that was going to need approval and just notated it on the file.
I have never called lowes and ignore all their calls. I have had items delayed for months and I still get them. Today in fact I'm supposed to get a delayed item that I took no action on.
I just got this. At first I wasn't sure what it's for, but when I got it I was impressed. It makes it very easy to make irregular cuts. Normally $10, I got it for $2 with free shipping.

This is how ii's done.
Picked up a Proxxon Micro mil MF 70 today, never opened, it was a special order return clearance. The unit is supplied with a stable base of cast iron. Both vertical column and compound table are treated, high quality aluminum. All axes are play-free and have adjustable slides. The headstock, made of die-cast aluminum, houses the 24 pole balanced special motor and provides stability even at high operating speeds . This stability facilitates the use of the finest cutters. Six triples slit hardened Micromot steel collets come with the machine and cover shank sizes of 1/32-1/8. An adjustable ruler scale eases the positioning of the work piece. This tool is used for the most delicate projects, lab, opticians, jewelry, electronic and model building projects. Retail on this tool was $410.00, I paid $30.00. It's a bench top mill machine and a tool I did'nt have.
. Also picked up two hammerhead cordless screwdrivers for $3.50 each. Gonna use them for X-mas gifts. Think I'll have a beer. None of this online BS, you had to be there.

If it's the Spotsylvania County store, that jumped to $55.98 and now shows parcel shipping unavailable. I was too slow.
Drivers is plural, so how many?
I thought it was a good deal at $25, but then I'd need a $60 battery and a $40 charger...

No problem! I'm giddy like a school girl. Can't wait to tear into the box. This is one of those tools I never thought I would add to my collection because the price outweighed use. I've never posted a pic., the wife is the brain and she had to go to bed early. I'll try to post a pic tomorrow.

Nice score.
Time to start playing with it, if you break it you're only out $30; If you don't break it then you'll probably find it to be a fun toy to mill small things and will be the best $30 you've spent in a while.
But caution! tooling for a mill is where they get you, going to cost more than $30.

couldn't agree more, think I'll start with soft metals. It has hand wheels with zero adj. scales, one rev=3/64". one division =0.002". Motor from 5000-20000 rpm.(get your finger in that it will take a chunk out

Like he said someone bought it online, returned it to store, and they put it in a clearance section. I dont know why everyone is getting so excited, only 1 store had that item. You will not be able to buy this for $30, and he didnt even post his receipt so who knows he could be lying. Hey I bought a car for $1! everyone get excited for me.
On an unrelated note - has anyone noticed Lowes changed their return policy for plants? It used to be you could return any plant to lowes within a year for a full refund. Now you can only return "trees, shrubs and perennials" within a year.
What some people would do - I would never do this - is buy a plant at lowes, then months later find a twig and return it to store and get a full refund. You get your money back and get to keep the plant. Looks like too many people were doing that. Fruit trees seem excluded now.

Take that "Hot Wheel" $1 car to the store, thats where you are going to find the best deals. FYI I don.t have to lie and don't have to prove anything to you.

Just an FYI. I have found that Special order returns are always heavily discounted.
I have found doors, appliances, windows,vanities often up to 90% off. There is no point posting those deals, because they can not be duplicated. Post if you want to gloat. We're happy for you. But, no point getting in a pi**ing contest.

You are correct, this is a thread for Lowes deals. That item isnt sold in a lowes store. I've never seen that at a lowes store, and believe me I've been there a lot. He didnt post a picture of it at lowes, the lowes price sticker, or his receipt. There's really nothing about lowes in his post. He never even said the word "lowes" in any of his posts.
That's great he apparently found it for $30 at 1 store, but no one will be able to replicate that, and we have no proof he actually got this at lowes. I checked every lowes store and none have this for less than $400.
