That’s a screaming deal. Three phase but you can use a VFD to convert single phase. Biesemeyer style fence will need replacement sides but that’s not a big deal. Motor looks like 3-5 HP.
He also has a Delta drill press for $100
you can Say That Again,
anytime you can get a uni or a PM 66 for under $300.00, Go for it!
I paid $569.00 for mine, but it was Plug and play!!
(Don't ask me where he got that price.....LOL.....a little random.....)
I was expecting to pay around $500.00 and have to rebuild one.
It was funny in a way,
Actually it was on craigslist, And I had a Few Extra Bucks,
But I was in the hospital, Was going to be there a while.
I called the Guy, just for S&G's, we ended up shooting the breeze for about an hour. (about tools and machines)
Just had a good feel/vibe so to speak from the man, did something I normally wouldn't do, But I brought it sight unseen.
Saw turned out to be just fine, and he had just replaced the bearings and belts, painted it with some industrial (hard) 2 part paint.
can't remember what it was called, IIRC, he said it was pretty toxic, had to wear a special mack, and so on.
And he put bearings in the motor too , IIRC. (1 HP Bullet, single phase!)
He did an excellent job on the resto.
real nice guy too.
I ended up buying my arbor press off of him at a later date.
he built the stand for the Arbor press, and did an excellent job on the stand too!
