Lyndon sorry to hear about Irene's dad. Thoughts and prayers are with you all. Bobby
Stewart, I knew I owed you an answer but couldn't remember where you posted the question. I finally did one of those "Find more posts by shortykorte" searches.Bob. How are the Flexzilla hoses? Do they live up to advertising?

I've had Flexzilla air hoses for a couple of years and they are the best I've ever used. Less experience with the water hoses but they work great as well. These are about twice the price of any hose I've ever owned so I am not sure they are that much better. I'm old and I'm learning to squander some of my money on fancy-schmantzy stuff. I don't think I'll live long enough to buy Lista cabinets or Snap-on tools but Harbor Freight is no longer my only source.
RIP Wasyl
Lyndon our thoughts are with both you
, Irene and family at this time..

Sorry for Irene and your loss. Prayers sent out to you.
It's always sad to lose someone close. Take care of the arrangements, but keep some time for Irene. She will need support.

Lyndon: sorry to here about Irene’s dad passing. Sounds like he had a long interesting life. May he Rest In Peace.
Lyndon, sorry to hear about Irene's father passing. It was good that you and Irene shared a meal with him on your day out. I suspect that holidays and important milestones are stressors. My great-grandmother died on July 4th, my father died on Thanksgiving and my mother died on Mother's Day. Celebrate Pop's life and remind Irene of the good times the two of you had with him. Especially the times he asked you "What do you want to do that for?"
Lyndon: Very sorry to hear of your loss. He sure went through a lot and landed on his feet. Australia was the right place for him. Our prayers go out to you.
Lyndon, Sad news is never good to read. Make the most of this long weekend and that many reading this are with you and thing about you and Irene at this time.

Sorry to hear about your father-in-law mate.
As you know my grandparents came from the Ukraine as well, with a similar story to your in-laws.
That Facebook post brought a tear to my eye.
Prayers sent your way Lyndon for you and your family.

Thanks gents - appreciate it!
Things have been busy with Irene working on the computer nightly to get the pictures, music & service requirements sorted out. The funeral is next Monday, as Irene's brother had trouble getting on the boat out of Tasmania (school holidays finishing & all.....).
I'm giving the eulogy.......
Could be a busy weekend.

As Tuesday draws to a close
Lyndon, did you know that the memorial is for all the HMAS Sydneys that have served.
The mast at Bradleys head is off the WW1 Sydney that defeated the German ship Emden at the Cocos Islands. The bow is on the rock works under the northern end of the bridge.
HMAS Sydney 2 was lost with all 645 men after a ferocious battle with the German ship Kormoran.
I had an uncle lost onboard that day off the WA coast.
A ****** nice harbour view isnt it?
I never tire of it.
Sounds like it may have been faster for him to fly. Still that trip would no doubt allow time for him to consider what is ahead. I have no doubt the eulogy will be good from you. May the coming weekend be all good and a great celebration of his life.
Edit: Lyndon. I hate to give you bad news but today is Wednesday and not Tuesday.
Simon
It's Wednesday already - you beauty!!!!
And unfortunately Irene's Brother's wife has an illness that makes flying almost impossible, so they have to come by land and sea.....
Lyndon
Now - where's that fridge?

I have one of those and like it, but it does take some training to get good at using it.
).

About 5 years ago the front end of the Falcon was re-sprayed for some reason (lost in the mist of time, and Chemo). When the paint started to fall off over the last couple of years I despaired as to what to do :
No more sneaking up behind coal trucks for me - uh um..... a healthy distance I'll give them all!

"even if it means some of the tools need to come back out for the next job...."
Right there is the basis for the clutter in my shop which prevents much of anything from getting done. I just hate to put away what I will need tomorrow.![]()
