stuff to get at sears on sywr points

new to this forum but didn't see this in threads anywhere

What are some tools/items worth getting at sears for shop your way (SYWR) points. I always seem to have some sort of points to get free items. Right now I have around $65 worth of points that piled up to spend on anything at sears.
What would you guys suggest to get out of tools there ??

I have milwaukee M18 power tools, mechanical ratchet stuff, and general hand tools. I'm a first time homeowner for about 2 yrs now so still building up tool collection for odd jobs around house. No matter what I do, always seems to be missing some tools so I always look for tools if I can get them at good price or free.

Do you play the games on the ShopYourWay and Win It apps?

I’ve been playing for a few years and earn roughly $10-20 in points on a weekly basis. Combine those base points with their “Free Cash” offers and you get a lot of tools for very little money.

The 3/8 drive deep impact metric socket set is slightly over $50 retail. It’s on sale this week for $25 and when using points and Free Cash yesterday, I ordered it on Sears.com and paid $6 and some change for the set.

Wait for the sales, do your homework and wait for the right item at the right time. I would guess that I pay roughly 1/4 of what most people pay for the same items at Sears.

As for what do look for...

Their red handle pry bars are a nice deal, USA made. Same with the 40 Pc. Master Rethreader set.

I’ve been getting a lot of their Chinese pliers and screwdrivers for next to nothing and sometimes free (using points) to throw in my road box.

Agreed! The pry bars are nice. I also buy Dewalt batteries. Glue, sandpaper, weed eater supplies...etc

I played some game they had some time ago but it didn't seem worth the time since I didn't win anything.
SYWR I"ll miss when sears is gone, i got some crazy deals there with points, like 140pc stanley socket set for about $8, various garden tools for few cents, etc.

I was thinking about bench grinder but thought i'd ask for ideas since I don't know how much I'll use it yet or if their grinder is junk.

They still have some good mallets and hammers, their handles pry bars, and aviation snips (both midwest and craftsman). They still have a number of decent items online

+1 on the prybars and rethread Kit ,tin snips are still US made by Midwest and the wire strippers are made by Stride .

Sears is no longer carrying Knipex or Irwin. Both brands are being phased out and anything left on the shelves is old stock that will soon go on clearance.
