Well I've got at least 10-15 years to go myself before retirement.
2-3 hours a night every night after work and all weekend long gets a lot done!

I know it! Bought a sled back in September and waited for snow all winter and the weekend we go North it snows.

Been plugging away at the railings and I built a set of steps!
Only 39 more spindles to go and that huge upper level part of the work will be 95% done! Whew!

So glad I went with black spindles instead of the 2x2 wood ones and the cedartone wood. Lot of money but worth the look![emoji16]

Picking up the rest of the spindles tonite and finishing that up this week. Spent the weekend cleaning up unneeded stuff and preparing for the main floor work to commence.
I hope to be 95% done with the inside work by April 1 as I have a lot of work to do outside yet in April and May. Wish me luck!

We live week to week like most other folks, so ya - same here!
Actually cheaper than renting a hall locally though and the money stays on our own property for improvements. Win, Win!

Thanks. I work on it every night after work from about 5 -8 and any spare minute on the weekends. She's a lot of help doing the little things that take time - freeing me up to spend that time doing more of the major things.
She's got 4 of the 9 chandeliers cleaned and ready to hang. And she'll also be doing most of the painting inside the barn in the few areas that need it when we get that far.
We'll take a much needed break once the wedding is over!

It's been warm here the last few days melting the 16" of snow that fell 2 weeks ago. Not that big of an issue except for the fact that the barn floor leaks when it pours. I've fixed some of them that I can see but other places it comes up right in the middle of the floor where it's broke through a weak part of the concrete.
Add to that the giant 2 foot diameter hole in the roof due to the cupola that flew off last Spring and it's not pretty. The cupola was tarped off but they used a cheap 3 dollar blue tarp that was trash in 2 months so the rain now comes right through it.
I'l get a pic when I get home tonite and show ya the mess.

Wow, your wife did an amazing job on that wall, that looks really cool!

We have a couple of those wheeled magnets at work, they get used a couple times a month on our back lot. A total life saver.

No. I thought about it but I've never been a big fan of under stair storage and hate getting down that low anymore to find ****. I'd just as soon close it off and forget about it.

Love it when a plan comes together!

Sadly I had to cut the sawmill apart as it's dimensions wouldn't fit under the slab but I'm still happy with the results so far.
