I'm curious why all the tools are in here when the title says non tool? I was advised there was a tool specific amazon thread right?

Because whiny people complain every time the heavy posters put up something that they don't consider a tool because it's "off topic". Rather than argue with them this thread was created, someone out there considers everything in here not a tool. The rest of us just say "thank you".

Edit: also, you should know that because you posted a question without also finding a deal to post with it, that you are off topic and wasting everyone's time. My post here is as well.

Double edit to put myself in compliance: Milton 4' replacement air hose. $6.17

LOL I find this thread full of discussion so I'm not too concerned about that. In fact 10:10AM today there was one. You'd think they'd just consolidate the two if nobody seems to follow the topic description.

The original thread is for the whiners and complainers, this thread is for Duker and a few other people who post a lot of items to do so in peace. We don't really want the whiners and complainers over here.

Perhaps you should search my posts before you decide to open your mouth and remove all doubt you're not very bright.. In fact, nearly 10% of my posts thus far have been posts of things i've found.

Forgive my ignorance but isn't this the deals forum?
IE the sole purpose is to share deals AKA contributing? Which you clearly called me out for allegedly not doing? Some peoples children!! Now you are screwing up my ratio..

I've noticed ever since the whiners arrived Duker has posted substantially less deals. People really don't need to post when something arrives that's not up to par. It takes 30 seconds to have amazon come receive the item and refund your money. I would assume Duker now second guesses the deals he sees and posts a lot less of them. Duker I just want to thank you for the deals you have posted, I have benefited from many of them but my wallet has not lol! Keep posting stuff man we really appreciate it and understand the risk we are taking when buying.

To clarify on this, it's often not "whining" when bum deals arrive, just giving heads up to NOT order some of the stuff that will inevitably be relisted once AWD gets it back. Returning **** from Amazon could not be easier.... now back to deals....:rocker:

Yeah I think it’s good to hear from other people and their experiences. We can work together to know what works better than others. I think we know heavier bulkier items are more prone to negative results. I don’t think anyone blames filer or whom ever posts. It’s buyer beware and amazon always takes stuff back.

Without the side comments on bad deals and great arrivals... we would all be ignorant to what's going on... I'd rather be smart... and I don't WHINE...

The whiners in my book are the ones that complain every post isn't a deal. To them... I say get a real computer and stop trying to squint to read their subscriptions on their tiny phone.

Oh... My hammers arrived...

I bought the blue chair several pages before and it arrived a couple days ago. It was a great deal and I was terrified but it’s near perfect condtioned and one heck of a deal! Appreciate the post and it was a large item which concerned me but came without a problem. No idea why it was returned!

$300 chair I got for $65. How great is that!

Some quick comments....

I started the thread as a way to accommodate those who wanted the original to be tools only. Of course, that didn’t last long either. While I started the thread I considered it OUR thread and hope many others continue to post and contribute.

While I hate to see someone get a bad AW deal I would rather have them post to let us know so someone else doesn’t get stuck with it again as we have seen how well that “inspection” department is at Amazon. I think we would all appreciate knowing what to stay away from or to be alerted to potential risks.

Speaking for myself, while I appreciate when someone lets me know when they got a good deal I know others want to minimize traffic to item posts only so I don’t always respond as a way to keep the thread on point.

Off topic posts... it happens to the best of us. I think in general the thread is pretty good about about staying on topic but if we get off on a tangent the best way to move on is to post up an item!

We have a great group here on the GJ...let’s try and stay away from making it personal. Don’t make me quote Rodney King!

So now that diatribe is done.....

I appreciate this thread, and the fact that it's separate from the tools thread.

Ignore the haters (yeah, it's hard).

In any case, I just bought the Durham box, and I owe you a big thanks. I have a stack of 3 "cases" of 4 boxes. Love these things!
Should we ever be in the same place, the first round is on me.
