Let's not clog this thread up with coupon codes... Please keep it to PM or go browse that dedicated thread of at SD...

As for the vacuums, nowhere ships, the price is all the same at all stores ($199)...

I think the 40 off $200 coupon is dead right now. So best you can do it $20 off that.

I bought that dyson unit that's normally 489 they got on sale for 199 today. Brought it home and promptly vacuumed the same areas I hit on Friday before my grand bubby came over for the weekend. Holy **** is that thing bad to the bone. All the reviews I read claimed it was the most powerful sucker out there and that ain't no ****. It pulled dust out of the carpet our other recently new top of the line shark didnt even touch. If anyone is in the market for a new vacuum I highly recommend jumping on this deal before it's gone.

And the shark that's only a couple months old will be getting returned to Costco. Btw, I'm not the kind of guy that would normally do **** like this, return a functioning unit just cause, there is a reason. Two of the room have deep pile carpet and the sharks brush would give us the big one finger salute and stop working. So that unit more or less failed what it was advertised to handle.

see we used my mother in laws dyson over our floors and we bought a shark and it pulled stuff the dyson wouldn't touch lol.

i don't think you could go wrong with either! i love the versatility of the shark much more, that was the selling point for us.

lord, you can tell you're growing up when you get as picky about vacuums as you do power tools :eyecrazy:

I totally agree with your statement as we could say the same. The shark kicked out previous dyson units ***. This new dyson is one serious sucker :p

It really seems hit or miss with the dysons... They must have some sort of QC problem, probably an air-leak somewhere in the design causing some units not to have as good as suction as they should.

I'm a Miele guy myself. I bought a C1 homecare powerline recently, man is it impressive. I'll never go back to bagless vacuums. It kicks out absolutely no dust and has awesome power. It's German quality for sure, the motor is ridiculously quiet and has a 10 year warranty.

We had 2 Dyson's, both lost suction over short period of time. Replaced them with a Shark, love it!

Yeah, these have been on sale for a while. At least in my area. Picked up one for work.

that's funny. Got married. I've always heard that the Dysons break pretty easily and parts are hard to come by. I have a friend who broke hers and the part took a month to get. The shop that repaired it said its normal to take a month to get parts. Best of luck

Oh great gj gods .... I purchased one of those Dyson for $180. Should I return it for shark? I hear good and bad here.

I personally prefer Miele, but my ex got mine, and $200 is MUCH nicer than $600-1000

Reviews have overall been more favorable for Shark than for Dyson in the last several years, but there are still many satisfied Dyson owners too. Personally I went with Shark, as have two of my relatives since then. But at least getting a Dyson at that much of a discount brought it down equal to or less than a comparable Shark (instead of costing 2-3+ times as much), so you're more likely to get your money's worth out of it than someone who paid full Dyson price. :)

The 'ball' style Dysons have a reputation for some of the moving parts being always backordered due to being always breaking. Supposedly fixed in the Ball 2.

I bought a DC 17 I think, in 2009 or early 2010. Refurbished. Never needed as much as a replacement belt let alone any parts. Still runs like new now.

We thought we lost the small brush during a move, but then found it where I told her to look and she told me she looked, after having bought a new small brush. Totally not a memorable detail. Totally not still pissed about it.

I came across a pile of these yesterday. I probably should have bought more than one... Only 3/8" drive 1/2" shallow 6 point impact sockets.

How about this deal?

Note: I don't think these are in stock anywhere, but I suppose someone could get lucky.

 Holy cow, that would be quite the score! Unless someone's managed to get a fancy refrigerator for a penny at Home Depot, that would be hard to beat!

Lots of light bulbs from reset at 25% off.YMMV

If you know what bulbs you want / need, and have several Lowe's close by, it is worth comparing prices online beforehand as I've noticed they can vary quite a bit from store to store. Also some stores will have certain ones while other's don't... Like I needed a 3-way LED... One store had like 3, the other store had 0... Also the 100W A19 Utilitech LED, one store had tons, other store had 0. They really need to get their act together, the light bulb section in my stores are like half empty and so unorganized... It looks like a freaking Sears...

Check your Local Lowes. Found about 1/2 dozen different toilet seats for under $3.00.
Notably some Kohlers that sell for 36.00 to 42.00.

I've never seen a store price-match another store's clearance price. The fine print always says regular-price only.

Lowes will never match another clearance price since they are store-specific. Different stores carry different items, and what may be on clearance at one store may never be clearance at the next store 20 miles down the road.

As long as you have a MyLowes account, there is no minimum for shipping. I've shipped $1 items quite a few times... lol.
