Beautiful! What was the total cost shipped to US?
Sorry, but I have no idea of the overseas shipping cost because I live in Japan. The price of the tool itself was $67 at Amazon Japan.
I noticed Rakuten has way more choice and better pricing than Amazon.co.jp, not tried either yet, but will do for some vessel woody screwdrivers soon.
I will let you know how it goes.

This may very well be the best option for these particular tools. I usually find that USA distributors of Japanese and European tools charge more than overseas stores, but Amazon Japan does not appear to sell this and the first Rakuten store I found them at (could be others) is actually a bit more expensive. https://global.rakuten.com/en/store/mutsuura/item/10495968/You can purchase those from the Vessel US distributor for $50, I've made several purchases from them in the past.

Here's a Rakuten option, US$63.49 + shipping: https://global.rakuten.com/en/store/mutsuura/item/10495967?s-id=rgm-top-en-browsehistThanks for the heads up. I was actually hoping to get the 330 series ones, I think it’s 3310PS set that have the hammer striking caps.
Pretty hilarious that people can order things from Japan and arrives quicker than my supposedly "2 day shipping" from walmart which took a week that is only 500 miles away (and my package was stolen, went 3 days without tracking updates and then said it was left at the back door). The new one still hasn't even shown up yet and it's been a probably 2 weeks since I first placed the order.

I will search around.
Amazon Japan has the 3310PS set for 70 bucks. I'm having trouble posting a direct link due to Japanese character issues, but if you go to Amazon Japan and search for B077S7FRS4, you should find it. Good luck!
Striking cap models from the US Distributor $71.02

Thanks Tanukiboy, the picture shows the non-striking cap, perhaps its just the wrong image, does the listing mention striking caps? See image below for the ones I am after.
I think you're correct that the picture at Amazon JP is wrong.]
So I think by penetration they mean striking?!
Looks like that third party seller does not ship to the USA.

All Vessel screwdrivers of the 4500 series and also the Megadora are JIS.
I heard it through the grape vine that Frank (frankstools.com) may be getting some Vessel 3310PS sets in, by special request. Just a heads-up for anyone else here in the states who can't easily obtain them.![]()

FWIW, I was told by Vessel rep that all Vessel cross point (+) screwdrivers are manufactured to JIS specs.
Vessel Statement on JIS Compatibility:
'The Phillips tip of VESSEL screwdrivers is designed with less tolerance than the JIS or ISO standards. Therefore, the VESSEL tip standard is within both the JIS and ISO standards. i.e. it complies with the JIS standard as well as the ISO standard.'

Very well, regardless though, the vessel drivers have made destroying the JIS screws on the vintage motorcycles a thing of the past.
If you don't have a set yet, getcha some!
DIN 5260 is the latest and greatest standard, compatible with both Phillips and JIS screws. True JIS screwdrivers are a thing of the past, just like the JIS standard. But today, there are 'JIS compatible' screwdrivers, like the current Vessels. Wiha and PB Swiss also conform to DIN 5260 standard so they are JIS compatible. Snap-On does not, AFAIK...
I don't believe the PB Swiss conform to DIN 5260. They are only listed as conformance to DIN ISO 8764-1. I do know about the other brands. I use PB Swiss exclusively for PH and have a set of old Vessels to use on JIS/DIN 5260.
Snap-On instinct tips are made to work on everything.
