I needed some T-handled allen wrenches for the trailer tool box. WHile I was getting them, I figured I might as well grab a set of Metric along with the SAE set I was going to buy. I picked up this Allen combination set from Sears with tax (minus 79¢ in points) for just over $20.

I also wanted to grab a dead blow hammer (rare use) for the trailer also so no need to spend big money so I stopped by HF and played their game. I used the 20% off and free gift and had the wife do the same. We walked out with a 16 & 24 oz dead blow hammers, a 6-n-1 screwdriver (destined for work) and a pack of microfiber cleaning cloths for the trailer also for about $11.

Also stopped by Menard's and picked up a 3lb sledge for $8.99 with a mail in rebate for $6. You might also spot the bottle of anti-seize and Permatex Ultra Black. I have found Menard's to be cheap on some basic garage consumables. It's even better when they run the 11% sale.

New wrenches from Cripe. Better feeling than my harbor freight junk.

My southern facing windows need new screens. I gathered what I needed and made a "tool box". Also got a "Made in USA" spline tool.

My Amazon order from Germany finally came in. Roughly $23 shipped. :)

Have to change my coolant expansion tank on my 911, and these are perfect for the all the little rubber hoses that need to be removed. This is a 10 minute job on any other vehicle...about a 1.5 hours on mine due to it's tucked away location.

First Swedish pattern wrench I've ever bought a Knipex 83 10 010, its 12"
I am thoroughly impressed it was either this or the snap on pwz...
and with the additional savings the choice was simple.

I finally broke down and bought an extended reach cut off tool. I’ve had a few situations over the years where one of these would have come in handy but made do with my good ole standard die grinders.

Used it for the first time last night in a situation requiring it and it worked perfectly. Nice tool.

GW hog ring pliers set because I'm changing the vinyl seat covers to cloth and regular pliers are a pain to use. Knipex 10" heavy duty side cutters because my 6" wire cutters couldn't cut off the hog rings. Mueller Kueps clip removal tool.

Finally got to play with the Eastwood's 'new' bead roller last night, for the price I am pretty impressed. Still could use some practice but it should work just fine for what I plan on using it for, although I still need to make a stand for it. Came with a few sets of bead dies, I bought another few sets of step and flanging dies, along with a 4 spoke handle to make it a little less clumsy using it by yourself.

I lost a 15mm socket and had to buy a new one. I figured I'd buy a fancy one since where I work has a big Grainger account and it was convenient/cheap.

Most of my sockets are harbor freight and old craftsman/ace hardware. This is way shinier and makes me want to buy a whole set.

Strouty, I've got a couple pair of the Mueller trim clips and have sold several. Very well made, not sure of the COO, but I think they are German made

An 11 PC Facom (made in France) Punch Set. I like these a lot more than the Bahco/Snap On comfort grips. Got them on an Amazon price drop for about $50.

Also got this Metabo Carbide Paint remover. Going to be showing the house and detached garage a lot of TLC this summer.

I always think it's really cool when you can precisely date an old tool. Both of those ratchets have a symbol between the "on" and "off". Compare those to this chart for year of manufacture. 170707_060203_7.jpeg
