I know it worked for a bit, I got one and was trying to buy another.
I also verified that its not just me as my wife can't get one either so either the page is overloaded or the link is soon to be dead.

What browser are you using? Chrome, Mozilla do not work for me at the Lowes website. IE works fine.

Well its the paypal site, not Lowes giving the error. Chrome is what I bought the card in originally, I've tired IE and Firefox, multiple systems from multiple locations.

First, that is not what this thread is about. This is getting gift cards at a discount. Yes, you can further your savings with a coupon when checking out, but you still have to pay with something, which is where the discount gift card comes in. If you use all discount GC w/ a 10% off, your savings is ~18%.

2nd, why are you buying coupons? Many places to get without paying. And technically you aren't actually buying the coupon, just the person's 'time' to get it for you, as selling coupons isn't usually allowed

Funny, the lady knows me by name at my usual Lowes, and while I have had to call in a few things, they have always taken care of the situation.

Where I live your lucky to get acknowledged in either of the two Lowe's we have. They do a great job of making you feel like your bothering them with your presence. Don't bother trying to get any help, the most you'll get is a point in a direction or a "I don't know thats not my department". I was referring specifically to where I live, sorry I should have specified. Glad its not like that everywhere.

I used it online, but it says it can be used in-store as well. There is a bar code on it so I guess you can print it or have them scan it from your phone.

That is why I said "As Well" which means you would use the coupon along with this gift card.

You cant get those coupons very easily without buying them, unless you are a Realtor. There used to be moving packets at the post office but that was while ago. If there are many places to get them then post the links.

I''ve probably bought $2k of Lowes cards at 10% off from PayPalDigitalGifts.

I have had a few items cancelled recently that I ordered online for store pickup, as they didn't have in stock and didn't convert to a general web order. They assured me many times that ''your gift cards weren't charged, so theres no money to be refunded to them''. Well I now have $250 of empty giftcards.

I'll go to the store tomorrow to try to sort this out, and if that fails, call up the help desk.

I had one order tonight where I was using $30 left on a gift card, and $30 on credit card. We've just moved, and the credit card billing address wasn't working. So after 3 tries, Lowes cancelled the order. And now the $30 on that gift card is gone.

So, only order things that they have >2 of in store (as sometimes when it says 1 in stock, that means the display one, which in some cases (like Nest Thermostats), are dummy ones).

I'll probably stop doing the Lowes gift cards now.

Very strange as anytime I had a web order that got canceled and I paid with GC a few days later a FedEx envelope showed up with a GC for that same amount. I called them about it and due to their system they can't just put the $ back on the original card so they reissue them. If you've moved that could be a problem as the new tenant could be getting your Lowes GC and redeeming them. I've had very good luck calling the Lowes CS dept, this however may be an instance of you getting all the order #'s and what GC you used on what order and compiling them into an e-mail and sending that off.

Spent nearly two hours in Lowes today. It is like you say, they have someone in 'gift card IT' who is now sending me a couple hundred dollars. I will have to comb through receipts though.

One thing was weird. The $30 order that didn't go through. That gift card was showing as having $30 on it at customer service desk, but $0 at register.

Going back Friday.

I'm done for a while, and will just buy more when I have a specific purchase to make that will use them all up.

But the extra 5% off custom order blinds worked, and saved me $50. Thanks.
