I''ve probably bought $2k of Lowes cards at 10% off from PayPalDigitalGifts.
I have had a few items cancelled recently that I ordered online for store pickup, as they didn't have in stock and didn't convert to a general web order. They assured me many times that ''your gift cards weren't charged, so theres no money to be refunded to them''. Well I now have $250 of empty giftcards.
I'll go to the store tomorrow to try to sort this out, and if that fails, call up the help desk.
I had one order tonight where I was using $30 left on a gift card, and $30 on credit card. We've just moved, and the credit card billing address wasn't working. So after 3 tries, Lowes cancelled the order. And now the $30 on that gift card is gone.
So, only order things that they have >2 of in store (as sometimes when it says 1 in stock, that means the display one, which in some cases (like Nest Thermostats), are dummy ones).
I'll probably stop doing the Lowes gift cards now.
