Today was an awesome day for tools.

I'll start with the 5 Bessey screw clamps I got. The price had dropped from about $90 to $13 and I used my amazon rewards. Paid $0. Get rewards from buying price dropped tools to get free tools. It's a beautiful thing. :)

You are going to love those Bessey sliding arm clamps. I bought a bunch of them in various sized about 10-15 years ago at an estate sale and they are awesome.

Maybe I should have listened to the 24" drawer depth naysayers. A little tighter than I expected

Heard you need 3 of those to match a 30" deep 84" epiq… well YEA you will... but it is very very pretty. I read it on the internet.

Seriously tho… that is a beautiful box. I would love to be rich enough to afford one or three.

Sure is pretty though. Storm Gray with black trim?
Yep my favorite

Could be true. The Epiqs are a whole other beast. I'm definitely not rich, just been saving up. Thanks!

I have the MTM foam cannon. You will love it! Just make sure you have the orifice for low pressure pressure washers, or you won't get as much foam.

I worked as a welder in a shipyard before and part of the way through college. Really excited to have my own garage now; 2.5 years after graduating. Itching to pick up a tig welder and get a bench made! :)

Here's my S-K Father's Day 40% off purchases. I bought a 62 piece set of 1/4" and 3/8" standard and deep-drive sockets and a set of flare-nut wrenches in both metric and inch/Imperial.

A close-up of the socket, they all look like this.

This is a father's day gift that the family is contributing-to. I have a 50+ year-old Wright 3/8" socket and wrench set I got new that I'm going to give a rest.

I don't have pics as yet but I just scored the DeWalt power station charger/inverter for the princely sum of $150Cdn. I also got the DCG412 grinder/2x5ah batteries and a charger for $125Cdn!

My brother works for Stanley/B&D and he clued me to an employee only tent sale that happens a couple of times a year. He got me the goods for about half of his regular 50% employee discount! The charger/inverter was an "open box" item and the grinder was just a kit in the warehouse as far as I can tell...mine now! Yes, pics will follow in a week when I'm back in the city to pick the stuff up!

I've been wanting some NWS pliers for awhile to compare to the Knipex. Finally saw a deal for the entire set of Irwin rebranded NWS pliers for $179, and jumped on it. What I didn't realize is that they would literally send the display hardware that was in the stock photo of the set as well. So of course, before opening them, I couldn't resist setting up the display first.IMG_20180616_111312211.jpeg

I stopped at a lawn care center to get hydro fluid for my mower and made a mistake of walking past the chainsaws. Now I do have a major need for a chainsaw, I just didnt really need another chainsaw. Either way, I impulse bought a new Stihl 271 Farm Boss with 20" bar.

Here is the picture I sent my wife to show her why I needed it and to prove it's way bigger than my Husqvarna 450. She wasn't buying it.

Just got back from AutoZone, went to go drop off some used oil left over from when I did the oil change on my wife's 2016 Toyota 4Runner this morning and also pickup a few things and also use up a $15.00 rebate card from AZ that I had been carrying around for a few months now.

While looking around in the tool section I spot this "spline socket set" in metric and sae by Sure Bilt for $16.99.

Sure Built?...never heard of the company before. :headscrat

Decided to buy the set, not only that but it was the last set that they had.

Anyway, anyone ever heard of the company or have used this spline set in particular?

Oh and finally, printed on the back, at the very bottom, it had those famous three words we're all familiar with..."Made In China"! :lol_hitti

×2, I also have the ergo-multi and it's one of my favorites. I also have the 9.5" linemans. Dang, that display is cool.

NWS also make an ergo-combi, and I want one, even though it won't quite match my NWS Irwins.:(

Hello everyone,
I just ordered this machine by Killer Tools and it came in 2 days!
I have need of this for 2 cars so I thought I could resell it later and recoup some of my cash. I purchased it from Tool Topia for $253.00 delivered. I could have made one but, time is short lately.
I knew it would be Chinese but, I was pleasantly surprised by the weld quality and construction. It is designed for door handling but came with bungee cords for handling bumpers also. It is recommended to be height adjusted with a powered ratchet (I do not own one) but, I used a battery powered drill with good results.
I haven't used it yet but, for now I will recommend it.
Mike

Just upgraded my wire crimpers. I was using a pair I got in college that I bought from Radio Shack. These Knipex are a substantial upgrade.

Have you tried the Knipex yet? Was just looking at them as a possible upgrade to my no name pair that I have never liked.

Holds both wires and your solder, and even moves the solder INTO the joint by turning the dial. Coil of solder is held in the handle. Super handy $70 off the truck. Have not found a off-truck equivalent, or anything else even remotely like it.

Matco EZ Solder Clamp

Edit: @ Michael_in_DE,
How do you like it so far? How do you use it? One hand to hold the handle, one hand to turn the knob, and one hand to use the soldering iron/gun/torch? :)

Picked up another CM 113.*** table saw because of the Beisemeyer Fence. This one also has some internal baffles to direct saw dust into certain areas. Goofy old man decided it was a good idea to paint the entire table top black before selling.

My SK order made it finally. Man I wish I'd had ordered the pry bar long before this. Years ago I used another manufacturers one and it would hold for ****, so I blew off the basic design all together. This one is no joke. Also got my X frames, wow are these things of beauty. I just wish (like most everyone) they'd come out with a swivel.

Damn, guess I didn't get a picture of the pry bar after all.

Hazet wheel lug sockets. The three in the set are made in Germany. The socket rotates inside the sleeve. Very nice. The green 22 mm socket does not say made in Germany and is a different design that doesn't allow the socket to spin inside the sleeve. :-(

The green sleeve is pulled free in the pic below - not its normal position.
