I only took a quick look, but I didn't see anything at their website that indicates the units aren't complete...

As far as the chargeback, merchants get screwed all the time by scammers, not calling you a scammer. If you call and say you didn't buy it or didn't show up you will always win the case. I have had people sign for it at their address and admit they got it on email then tell the cc they never received it. I lose they win.

Here you say that they told you guts sold separately

Here you say they accused you of gutting it.

Which is the real story? I suggest quickly becoming a lot less angry and a lot more articulate if to want sympathy, or a solution.

Wow....

I had something similiar from some HVAC parts from Indiana or something... send me a pump with broken impella , then flat out refuse to refund despite that I opened the case as soon as within 1 hours I received the item.... even with pictures and proof, these guys still drags and bullies their way..... thank goodness that the ruling was in my favor and I had them paid for the return shipping back to them with their junks.

OP, you should put this post or another vendor review post in that vendor review section as well most people search before they buy.

My employer was defrauded once. Guy had forged TX DL, credit card, and several other fake ID. Stolen plates and even wrong VIN. Company name was real. Google Street view showed a similiar truck to the one he drove. He even had magnetic signs on the truck.

Total bill was almost $10k. It took the CC holder 60 days to dispute. We lost.

Yea... I read the part that they said the guts were extra... missed the part saying they are now saying he took them out.

But I agree... with their advertised return policy... someone bought it... gutted it for parts... then packaged it up nice and returned it. And the OP got stuck with the gutless system.

I always make sure to inspect delivery for any signs that it's been opened previously == I take pictures of every package. The seller in this case should have tracking to know if the unit they shipped was previously returned.

If they were dumb enough to ship out a returned unit w/o inspection ... not very smart and they should have procedures in place to eliminate in the future.

In 20 years I can only think of one problem -- 100's and 100's of shipments. The seller in this case sounds questionable. When we got an inventory delivery, any item with non matching packaging w/o an explanation was opened and we noted our annoyance with the manufacturer. I can't believe someone took the fan out of a unit in shipment -- but I guess it's possible. Again, the packaging would show tampering. Sending a picture proves package tampering.

This should have been -- "we are very sorry sir"

I thought at first that post # 18 answered everything...and maybe it does..however there are multiple business' at that address with officers having the same last name in each. Makes one go HMMMMMM? :headscrat:headscrat:headscrat

https://www.bbb.org/south-east-flor...-parts/klimaire-products-in-doral-fl-11012672

Probably "Family" businessessss.... you know what I mean.... judging from the OPs post about the response he gets regarding that the owner takes it out and it is selling separate...... I think that was a sarcastic reply... very typical of certain ethnic groups... I know, I lived in the neighborhood....but never the less... just base on the response... I would have never deal with that type of personality that owns the business... it's very indicative that they are very very happy to take your $$$ but very less chance they would willing to work with you to resolve any issues, unless they have their arms twisted and..... plus more.

you can google them on google reviews, you'll see similar comments not too far off from BBB's review.

BBB as a whole is a joke. If said company doesn’t want to pay to be on their site they will post fake negative reviews on them.

I don’t use it. They’ve probably called me 300 times in the past 3 years to try to sell me a membership. Nope

LOL you should have seen the scams on yelps (on some article few years back)....but if there are multiple source verifying the OP's frustration... something might not smell right though.
