Walking through Home Cheapo the other day and the pressure washer ended up in my cart somehow. Haven't used it yet, maybe today. The 18v blower I got cheap off the bay just for clearing pine needles off the deck quickly. It works pretty well considering it's size. By no means a replacement for my gas blower but decent for what I wanted it for.

My wife uses one of those blowers for INSIDE the house... to knock the tumble weeds off the stairs and to dust some areas... she hates dusting but doesn't mind using power equipment.

Picked up a few items from HF last week and put them to use right away.

1. Portland #63254 1750 Power Washer. Got it for $71.00 with 20% coupon.

2. Portland #62630 22" Hedge trimmer. Comes with a nice clear plastic bar shield that slide off and on. Got it for $30.00 with 20% coupon.

3. Cen-Tech #69465 Non contact infrared Thermometer. Got this for $5.00 with a special on-line coupon and purchase of $50.00 or more.

All the above tools worked great and have already paid for themselves. I took a pic of the on-line coupon with my camera for the Thermometer and they scanned it at the counter.

Oh! Which calipers will it no fit? Please share I am very curious. Thanks

The unit is rather large and doesnt fit alot of smaller calipers on the backs of cars, I have this and whilst it works great on the fronts of most cars the backs are a different story, it also doesn't "wind back" the piston so you need to use a cube or better set up.

Im still considering cutting mine down, IF i was in the game as a pro I would cut it down smaller and have the standard for all /most others

I'm a sucker for good tool deals, and I was really curious what aluminum-bronze, non-sparking tools are like. Here's my new set of Bahco Al-Br pliers. I guess I can use them whenever I work on fuel lines.IMG_20180630_130403181_HDR.jpg

If you like good tools and are anti-sparking, you should know Ega Master, a Spanish brand of very high quality and with an extensive catalog of non-sparking tools.

Thanks for expanding on my question, I can sorte see what you mean. I know my sister's old Acura had the type of pistons that had to be turned in order to be retracted and I used a pair of needle nose pliers to rotate them

Need to dismantle a ton of pallets an inconvenient distance from an outlet so I made my first foray into cordless sawzalls. Also picked up a few pruning blades for limbing pines I take down and opening up trails in the woods.

I've used my Makita Cordless Circular saw in a pinch. Gonna have to get a sawzall eventually though.

Just a little something. But the grease was enough to look like I
was working on my truck. Maybe because of the black oxide? Who knows.

These were waiting for me when I got home: Proto JFE700A Spark Plug Boot Pliers. Started out looking for a set of Mac SP700As when these showed up in the search results and look the same to my eyes. Not positive but I suspect the Protos are/were the OEM for the Mac.

Stanley / Black and Decker owns both, so probably right about that.

My latest haul from E-Bay. I didn’t “need” the XL combinations but what can I say, I really like Bonney wrenches.

FFH had a Tekton sale, 50% off the second tool you purchased. I've been wanting to pick up a 30mm deep well impact socket after I needed one about a years ago so I grabbed one. I also have been eyeing up a set of hollow punches for some gasket making.

You sir keep hauling in some rather nice tools, along with good pictures.

I like it

Thanks! Camera body is a Sony alpha 6300 with a zeiss 24-70mm lens. A close friend of mine moved away, and he would let me use his shop to work on my projects. I had recently purchased a house so he was really helping me out; didn’t have the luxury of splurging on tools. It’s been about a year since I moved, so now that I’m more financially stable, I’m building up my own garage. :)

"Bonney"? I thought Matco was made by Wright. They look like Wright.
The extra length is good. You don't have to tug so hard, and you can reach better.

Bonney made the wrenches. Wright only supplied sockets and ratchets for a time.

Amazon purchase arrived today! I have this pinned on my twitter page; there's currently a $5 coupon, making this a $7 purchase. 1m long straight edge with inch & metric units along with some handy conversions.

Also modeled and printed a holder for my USA made craftsman mini torx screwdriver set. I can throw this up on Thingiverse if anyone would like a copy of the file. The torx set is only like $10 too :)

A little late going into Canada's 151th. Had to grab one of these because I didn't know that they made a special edition. Especially with all the trade shenanigans going on. A big thanks to Picquic for making these.

thats a great holder you printed up, does it have recessed magnets or something in the back to hold it there?

Hey Guys,

These are my tool purchases from the past 7 months. Sorry I didn't post them as they arrived. I have been busy with school and work.

A little late going into Canada's 151th. Had to grab one of these because I didn't know that they made a special edition. Especially with all the trade shenanigans going on. A big thanks to Picquic for making these.
I have the one with the 2" long bits - the handle is made in Canada, but the bits are Taiwan and pretty soft. I replaced all the Phillips with Wiha brand, quite a difference.
