These are chemical or glue dispenser. They would have a air inlet, a foot switch or some input, an hose out and a syringe with a needle to dispense. Give it a start signal and it will give a timed pressure controlled output. We used them to dispense glue, solder paste, potting compound and others by hand or robot. They come in different brands, sizes and features.

no neat sig line

I’ve been wishing for something like that to glue loose braces inside acoustic guitars with hot hide glue, super excited to know this exists!!

I am subscribed, have already posted in your thread, and plan to post more, but for the purposes of this thread, let me say that this score has gone immediately into The Little Green Book, and surely threatens to be in the running for one of my prizes!

On the topic of our farrier's knives and my comment about how worn they were compared to the catalog images of brand new tools... Check this out, Duds. :)

Folwdarr- if you feel like it for those wondering. If not, I’ve run into them before. The contents paper would have settled the debate in that old thread real quick.

Duddly - don’t care what you paid but YOU ****! What a display you got there.

Today’s small estate sale haul.

Is there much of a market for an old Corvette key?
I bought this bag of keys for a buck when I saw the Snap On quintuplets in there. The Corvette key may be of interest to Corvette folks.

May have been snow birds or folks leaving town after the hurricane.. Great house. Barely any tools. Estate lady said it was LOADED but he took just about everything with him, and she was surprised he left what he did. (Hardware and a few power tools).

Just got this Craftsman vise, Diamond pliers, and piece of a Craftsman drill grinding attachment. Plus the keys.

Jeff Hopefully you will be proud, I did my good deed for the day. One guy took a bunch of free padlocks that had no keys (Stupid me, I didn’t notice the locks were free) just common Master/ American Lock, etc.. I caught up with him down the road and we went through the pile together. We were able to match two locks with keys.

**I will be posting the vise up for sale in the classifieds if anyone is interested**

a couple of random items -
this little plumb hatchet (dry wall tool) - it is the original handle but the top of the handle is worn nearly in half ???? it was covered in masking and duct tape - this is what was underneath. I also think the handle was cut to make it shorter, but I am not sure. Either way, it had a rough life and is ready to rest now.

The plumb axes box was thrown in with the assortment of stuff on top of the other box. Nothing much here but I liked the Ryan's perfect handle style screwdriver.

and a bunch of NOS electrical cords and lamp sockets. I like to use the old appliance cords when redoing the wiring on old lamps, etc and they are always easy to find. These may be dried out (haven't unwound one yet) but the whole bunch of electrical stuff was $3

Mrs Duddly has me doing some cleanup and reorganization of my tool displays before company comes so I will probably come up with more stuff I bought (and forgot about)

Got out to the yearly "mile long" yard sale today, I spent a total of $32 bucks, $20 for the pile of air tools, all of which work very well except the paint gun which needs a real good cleaning, the paint gun is an IR, the guns are both cheapos but i wanted a 3/8"s and the I dont need a 3rd 1/2" but it was part of the deal, lastly the sander is a florida pneumatic. I than paid $10 for the dewalt drill in case which functions perfectly, and adewalt bag. Than $2 for an S-K ratchet, snap on socket and two craftsman sockets. 95f5ef8b7d5b1e062558881c6a716403.jpg021aef22b25b2e55da4a3b6578ab1f56.jpg9f65072a8fbe6695ace0b254b3c8eebe.jpg1c4d02bc7444845caaec341268f00e4a.jpg

A couple of 12V batteries, surprisingly the orange one has the most amps. I'm charging them now to see if they are still usable...

I sure hope you didn't pay the marked price on that battery!!:shocking:

Went to a sale this morning and found a bunch of factory shop manuals, for cars, tractors, and an airplane.
So I bought them all.
These are the best ones.

Nice keys. Very proud! A buddy sent me a lock a few months ago that he bought at one flea market. He found the matching key this past week at another flea market. LOL

Picked up this Craftsman radial arm saw for $45, mostly for the base cabinet.
I just got that same cab, but missing the foot pedals.
Also when I put the feet down, they don't touch the ground...Either wheels to big, or they are supposed to have some rubber feet on em?
Mine has a shop made wood drawer and door.

Today’s flea market finds. Not sure if I needed any of these wrenches to make sets but I have a bad habit of buying just about every one I find. d8d377cd589f3e391a69ace83298a509.jpg

Not many good yard sales, but the HS flea was today, and that was where most of my stuff came from. I did stop at a court sale, and was tempted by a pretty cool old vintage camp table that the square folded diagonally, and the legs and seat supports all stowed inside it. I passed as it was cool but something I would just store, not use. I did PU an old EverReady Flashlight there for a buck.

attachment.php

The Wrenches came from he Flea, the top are 3 PowrKraft and the combos are metric; three bucks, the SK and Proto were a buck.

I got this small tapestry hanging of deer for three dollars but I had to come back after breaking the ten buying the small wrenches above and then breaking the five buying a doughnut. Who goes selling with no change? :dunno:

attachment.php

The Proto ratchet and vise werr six bucks total! I was a happy camper!

attachment.php

I also had to have them hold it while I went and got change for a twenty. at least he said he'd been cleaned out of change earlier as everyone had big bills...

I broke a twenty buying this for $3, which I'd been looking for but had hoped to find one made by Peterson. No names on this one but I suspect Asian.

Then I went back for the Vise and ratchet.

I had fully expected to see Stanley, and possibly the sweetheart logo, but after wire wheeling all I got was an "5" :headscrat

attachment.php

Then as I was taking the pics I noticed this and had an AhHA! moment. still no clue about the mfg, but the COO is clear. I suspect prewar on this guy.

Very nice Lugs. What brand is that?
Good question, prompting a strange, complex answer! These were sold by the Union Steel Chest Corporation, Leroy, NY, from 1933 to 1949, but made for Union by The Pilliod Company. After decades of making wooden chests, they gave them up when they moved from Rochester to Leroy and changed their name for the third time, concentrating on steel chests and toolboxes (including a popular flip-top sold to the US Army for GMTKs in WWII). But the box remained in such high demand, they outsourced them and re-badged them. If it seems familiar, it's because it was also the Craftsman machinist chest from 1943 to 1949. And that's how I intend to restore this one.

Nice find Lugz! is that a wood/metal combination box?

I see that possibly landing on your watchmakers bench!
Thanks, guys.

Looking at the photo, I can see why you may have thought the lid might've been metal, Outlaw, but that's just a wood sheen in the sun. It's oak finish. It's a little too big and awkward for that fin de siècle watchmaker's bench, which was quite narrow, and much older, too, but I have a spot on a different bench in the Lugzsonian all picked out! :)
