So do I get a prize for the most eclectic:

Never had a set of picks, got one for the wood shop and one for the metal side. Those Ullman hooks
have a magnet on the end, that might be handy. I wish there were four handles.

The SK ones are nice, but I can't store them in holes drilled in wood since the hook is bigger than the handle. Maybe use washers.

Those super bars are a real deal, got one set for each of the kids.

The big hammer will stay in the wood shop so as to not worry about grease on it.

Brass punch, misc drill bits.

Wood clamps from Dubuque. Those are really nice, I've never had an aluminum bar clamp, might have to get more.

I don't wear Tee shirts, so I declined that.

Oh, and a quality weeder for the wife. Can't forget about her, our anniversary is coming up.

Try countersinking a vertical hole as big as the handle (doesn't need to be deep), then make a slot from the center hole to the edge of the wood shelf or whatever you're storing them on.

That's what I'll do. Didn't think of it.

Gotta get another 2x4 though. The one running across the back of my box is full.

Ouch, you don't wear tee shirts. Really? What type of shirt do you wear in the garage?

Long sleeve button down.

Four bucks at Goodwill, I'm pretty well dressed. Some of my shirts probably are $50 shirts. I haven't bought a new shirt of any kind for probably 20 years or more.

Fact, I can't remember buying a shirt.

Well I am late this year but I got a few things.

Welder pliers, oil filter wrench from Channellock. A canvas tool roll, some new file handles.

Thanks HJE!

This is probably my third or fourth order from them. Nice folks, good stuff. Heck I was pleasantly surprised that the welpers were almost $10 cheaper than amazon or eBay.

It’s the extras in the cart that get me. Lol.

My order arrived today. I asked for some box art and was surprised that I got mailer art instead. LOL

The free keychain was a nice touch. :)

Thanks Harry J Epstein Crew.......

Thanks! I sure get the Goodwill part; no sense in spending potloads of money for play clothes.

But, here in NC it has been 90-95 degrees for 6 weeks now. How can you manage in long sleeve shirts in the summer time? Oh, I know; you have an air conditioned shop :shocking:

I’m going to assume here (we all know how that goes), but with a name like mcfarmer, he farms. A lot of the farmers I worked for wore long sleeve shirts in the summer. They claimed the sweat kept the shirt wet and thus them cool. I tried it, I didn’t like feeling like I was in a hot sauna with my clothes on.

On a side note, I’m patiently waiting for my box art and the tools inside to arrive:beer:

Honestly don't remember wearing a short sleeved shirt in my life. Never saw my dad or my grandad wear one.

Did you know the sleeves rolled up ? And then you can roll them back down again ? And the buttons in front ? You can adjust them too ?

And like the other fellow said, wet fabric is cooler. Not to mention the shade.

Back to HJE or this is going to get WTF. (Appropriate smiley here)

I am waiting for my order to process too. My order was all Wright, so I suspect they had to get a shipment from Wright. I am all right with the wait.

Got my lot today!

24" PEC rule, 6" PEC double square, CS Osborne transfer punch set, and the 6pc USA file lot.

Sadly the box art got overlooked. But they did include an expired HF coupon! :lol_hitti

Also got the freebie keyring, thanks!

Mine hasn’t arrived yet either, but I did ask for some box art, so I’m sure that is slowing it’s progress. Just imagine all the people looking at it as they sort the packages.

My order arrived yesterday. Great packaging, fast shipping, and every item was a great deal. I didn't get my box art though. Hopefully next time.

My order hasn’t shipped yet either, but I’m pretty sure at least one of the sk items I ordered was special order, so it’s no big deal to me. I can wait, the prices are good and they’re good people.

Got my order in! Box art is fantastic (plus I love those old Guinness ads...and the beer itself) thanks Gj and Hje!

HJE = Harry J. Epstein's, a mom and pop tool, with some hardware, store in Kansas City, KS.

It's a common misconception that Kansas City is in Kansas. While there is a Kansas City, KS, the bulk of Kansas City is in Missouri and HJE is located on the Missouri side.
