I'm super excited. I finally got the funds and committed to purchasing the small coin G-Floor mats from Justin and Garage Flooring LLC. My garage was previously epoxied with a big box Rustoleum coating and was failing poorly. Not just the epoxy, but the actual concrete as well. Very pitted and flaking. I've patched it up with concrete resurfacer and it's been waiting to get a new covering for a few months now.
Any other prep work I need to do to the floor besides a good cleaning and sweeping of any debris prior to laying out the mat?
I'm going wall to wall and planning to put the seam running perpendicular to the cars. In other words, one mat at the FRONT of the garage, and one at the BACK, rather than side by side. Figured this will hide it better and get less traffic than running between the cars where we always travel. I'll end up with a second seam either all the way at the back, or along the side too, so the back seemed less intrusive to see.
