Jay, What brand are the bridge clamps?

Also the drill index? General? or Craftsman? (Made by General) - Edit: Never mind! Just looked at the badge pic! - General!

Picked up this old jack for $5.00 last Friday. Its a No. 941 Serial #SJ1230 and was made by Auto Spec Mfg.Co., St Joseph, Mich. Has a double screw and works perfectly.

I question the need for one. There's no powder residue in a BB gun. Perhaps it's one of those "establish good habits" things paired with good marketing.

Lead. The model shown on the box is a lead thrower (the 101), so there will be a little build up between that and the lubricating oil.

edit: Forgot to add, I found a Hoppes Airgun cleaning kit a few months ago, it is somewhere in this thread.

Another of my finds I picked up last week for cheap. Nice 4x6 Ringo's Trailer. Its a 2010 year model rated at 2000lbs. Original owner barely used it. Perfect size for what I need to move some of my shop equipment.

Dungeon- the Stevens is probably the same Stevens that merged with Walden in the 1920s, aka Stevens Walden. It is odd shaped, no telling if it had a specific purpose, but I have seen others that were curved rather than just offset. An odd one I saw by Buffum Tool comes to mind.

3Bay,
I assumed the shape was more of a design experiment rather than niche application - after all they did try a lot of odd dead-end variations back then, before arriving to mainstream shapes we see today. But who knows? Not me :) If it's indeed the same Stevens that would be pretty sweet, it would make it one of the oldest things in my toolbox that I will use! Thanks for the info.

Slim pickings today, but I managed to find a few things.
- a plomb 1226 combo that I needed for a set
- a circle h Craftsman 21/32 socket for that circle h box set I picked up last weekend
- a wf 30 plomb
-a plomb 1139 dbe and a 8183 deep offset dbe that I don't need, but "no plomb left behind!"

"The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat". This weekend was defeat.

The only item I found was this nice old Coleman one burner stove for $10. It looks like it was barely used. I did have to make a handle for the pots.

Seems to be the theme today. I spend the day running errands with SWMBO (which is always a good way to pass the day) and we spotted one TOO advertising "TOOLS!" but alas, there were only a few grimy, worn-out power tools that I passed on. At another Craigslist stop, SWMBO picked up some clay pots and hanging baskets for the garage deck.

I have bought so much stuff over the past few days it will be few days before I get it all sorted, pictures taken and so forth! No great deals put I did pick up a nice Parker 973 vise, an Equipto work bench that is the exact same style as my other one, a bunch of large hardware drawers full of hardware, a nice little pile of Snap On for cheap and another Craftsman top/bottom combo that was full of tools from an outboard motor repair shop that closed.

Here's the Equipto workbench, it is 6 foot long and has sliding doors. The added drawer actually appears to be a Lyon. Paid $80 for. Now back to work sorting out stuff and taking pictures!

On Sat I drove a couple hours to hit the Tillamook antique tractor and gas engine show, which had a very small swap. I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. I stuck to the dollar tables, as outside of that it was mostly high priced dealers. This is what I found. The first guy had buckets that he dumped out on an old trailer so I grabbed the following:
1j6ubn.jpg

Craftsman long c and Greenlee chisels, Armstrong T wrench, Duro ratchet (with plug) Stanly woodie standard screwdriver, a pair of Vacuum grip diagonals and a box that looked kinda cool
25gqs1f.jpg

The other dollar vendor had some interesting stuff
1zv78ty.jpg

A snowman P&C socket and a couple sets of reloading dies, 219 Zipper and 244 rem. My brother shoots that rem, but I am not sure if he reloads. But they were so cheap I couldn't pass them up. But as I went to pay the man, I noticed he was emptying an old socket box. I checked to see if anything in it was original, but alas, no. Still, beat up as it is, couldn't pass it up
1zlrhau.jpg

Stopped at a TOO on the way home, finding these for $20
i4qwas.jpg

A Smith Airline handle and 7 tips 004 to 0000. Will need o-rings and cleaning.
One last Garage Sale I planned to go to got me an old toolbox (nothing worth keeping) filled with these for $15
2v28nx3.jpg

Plomb and Proto Universals, SK, Herbrand, Plomb, Snap-on, Challenger, Craftsman BE and Indestro sockets, Craftsman RHFT ratchet, Plomb ratchet, Pebble and WF breakers, Penncraft extension and Proto drain pan socket.
Forgot to mention, I spotted this for sale, but didn't have a cool grand on me:
2qk8gvq.jpg

It only had a little bit of paint chipping, and the drawers slid very nicely! Best I have ever seen.

BMW, looks like you're one of the few who had a good day.

I haven't even started my truck since Friday, but have been puttering in the garage. My 1943 squad stove runs again, and I intend to get my GI Coleman lanterns into the same condition...at some point. Meanwhile, I need to change the oil in the truck!

Middling day at the Tahoe flea today. Quite a bit of Craftsman. A couple of Lectrolite made Dunlap DOE wrenches. Some Proto. Two odd Snap-on sockets and a Craftsman box in need of some bodywork.

The workbench I posted previously was a Facebook Marketplace find I picked up on Thursday. Nothing looked interesting on Friday so didn't hit any sales. Saturday had several sales that looked interesting. 2nd one I went too didn't have much but I did score the little Leatherman Squirt multi tool for $2 in nice shape . Later I went to the local flea market and picked up this Parker 973 in nice shape and a parts rabbet plane that had the missing side depth stop I need for my 1920's Craftsman rabbet plane for $75. Still lots more to come!

It's often called a dogbone. They actually did see some professional use by quick lube techs as a one size fits all for oil drain plugs.

I don't think those ratchet wrenches are SO.

BMW cool old boxes! I never see P&C boxes, and the Long C is very cool! interior pics of both please?

You are correct. The wrenches were Husky. The Battery tester, media, punch set and pry bar were all Snap on though.

Bought this Hazet DBE 10mm/11mm wrench this weekend. Anyone know what the double bend was used for specifically?

Side note: Dumb question, but what is the TOO acronym you all use stand for?

Karl

Just popping in to say, "Buenos Tardes!" from Bareclona, guys. It's day 14 of my vacation and I finally buckled under and peeked in. Lol. Too many pages to read on my phone, though, so I will have to catch up for real in 5 days when I get back to the states.

Out of hundreds upon hundreds of photos I have taken, I have one of a set of tools. And I wish I could say it's something good, but it was actually something disappointing. My wife laughed, scoffing at me for being an elitist. Photo, story, and I might even make a little 'Guess where this is...' game out of it, upon my return.

I stopped by the local flea market and found some goodies at my very first stop. Paid $20 for all of it!

Pic 1: The Snap on puller set in the back was scattered around on the table and I grabbed all I could find. I even found the red plastic tray in his trash pile. Other Snap On goodies are the harmonic balancer puller, battery pliers, 2 DBE wrenches and several Snap On and Blue Point snap ring pliers.

I'm supposed to call him Friday to see if he found the rest of the puller set.

Pic 2: Close up of the non-Snap On stuff, Bonney short metric combo wrenches 19 and 20 MM, Select steel DBE and a Proto 1/2" combo.
