I won the 7pm $2. 
And I spent my $8 off $8+ in-store this evening on one of the $7.99 Johnson-made Craftsman 8x12in square rulers (not on sale in-store or online), plus a $1.02 ($2.99 in-store; price-matched to Sears.com) 5-pack of Stanley utility blades.
I got one of the 16x24in squares a couple years ago when it was one of the last ones in the store (unfortunately it was the plain silver version rather than black or red, but I didn't know if there'd ever be any again), as Johnson-made products disappeared for a while; they finally started working with Sears again a few months ago. The 8x12 one isn't quite as nice as the 16x24 ones - steel rather than aluminum, and the markings are only painted rather than engraved/embossed, but it's the only smaller one Sears offers.
Usually I get something that uses up more of my regular points too, but I'm trying to save up 2 weeks' worth of sweepstakes points this cycle so I can maybe afford another Knipex next week.

Most reports seem to be guessing that Sears Holding, if they file, will seek Chapter 11 reorganization protection rather than a Chapter 7 liquidation. Under a Chapter 11 odds are pretty good that SYW would continue mostly unchanged for at least a few months.

My guess.
If they let the CEO buy Kenmore, SYW will last for the rest of the year.
If they file they will probably pay out points owed,but kill all the games and such.

There's a lot of complaints on SD now about the order checkout process not applying points properly tonight. Great time for one of Sears's random malfunctions... hopefully the employees aren't too demoralized to fix it tomorrow.

My only problem was having a freecash offer that doesn't have a minimum spend, so couldn't use expiring points first. Nothing new there.

Wow! Just one $2 for me.
Lots of reports on SD of people spending a bunch of points today; apparently the glitch was just for a few hours last night.
The situation is looking increasingly dire. I haven't given in and spent everything yet (~$25 at the moment) but it's getting pretty nerve-wracking.

Not only my wife and I spent our points, I made sure my big purchase (impact wrench) is available at the local home store. I am hoping to be able to pick it up tomorrow. I have a few other small items incoming but those aren’t too important. I am also expecting UPS to deliver my Knipex tomorrow. I hope Sears stay open longer but from reading the news it doesn’t look good.

Funny how the guy at my local sears is oblivious to the news, saying he just heard about it. They had a new rolling mechanics seat, with tools drawers underneath. So new that it isn't on the website & they had no price tag. The guy thought that was one of the new tools from Stanley for Xmas, & I had to sadly inform him that Sears is getting any tools from Stanley. As most retail associates are, he didn't believe me. How is it you are so informed on that, but clueless about the possibility of being out of a job at some point?

Nerve-wracking... I agree.
I guess I can go pick up any items paid entirely with points... but leave behind any I ordered for the "Spend $$$ now, get $$$ back" later, deals... since I'm guessing I'll be more likely to get my money back from my credit card company if I never pick up the items vs. trying to return them to a store being liquidated.

Very true, and remember just because we can play and win points, it does not really count until we order using that points and the items in our hands.
I wonder if there is any chance they shut-down SYW early and without warning? I am trying to decide if I want to continue collecting points then spend them every two weeks at a time, or spend them all every weekend combining it with the freecash from weekly email. Thoughts?

I have just enough points (after coupon) for a pressure washer... I was originally planning to hold onto the points... but the safe route might be to order it today... figuring I could return it next week if bankruptcy doesn't wipe away SYW balances and/or any pending cashback deals.
Anybody else seeing a growing number of the Xtra Facebook, Twitter and video bonus spins not working this week? Seems like 1 or 2 more stop each day. I’ve seen one or two have issues in the past, but nearly always they were either fixed or grayed out (wouldn’t spin) the next day.

I believe there is a limit on the number of times you can play those bonus spins for each game. Once you reach it, they get disabled/grayed-out.
Yes, the limit for most is one spin per day for 15 days during the typical one month the game is available. That's not what I'm seeing. For example, on a couple games today the Facebook symbol is blue, as normal. I click it, it spins very slowly a few times, then returns to blue.
To follow up on my attempt to get the $75 points of a $75 purchase after Sears canceled part of my original order that was supposed to be shipped to store and I, upon instructions from Sears Customer Service, reordered the canceled items for ship to home:
Everything was delivered to home last week while I was out of town. I contacted Chat this afternoon and the rep quickly added the $75 in points to my account all at once. She even had me check to be sure the points were in my account while she waited.
I've seen that occasionally before, and have been seeing it on a few currently and for the past week or so. I'm pretty sure those are ones where we've already hit the limit but the greying-out wasn't set up properly.
