Got this bundled with some proto tool boards and was able to negotiate a price of $20 and the seller even threw in the screwdrivers!
You drive a hard bargain. [emoji6] That's a deal for 20 bucks.
In the midst of posting this on the plomb thread, I forgot to post my newest vintage tool box acquisition! Got this bundled with some proto tool boards and was able to negotiate a price of $20 and the seller even threw in the screwdrivers! This box has some edge wear but is rust free and is only missing the top portion of the hasp off the lid! It even has the lift out tray ! This is the first plvmb 9989 chest and i am excited to own it !

SS Usuck a LOT for that...
Hi all, New to this but I have an old tool box that survived Harvey I am trying to ID, no markings that I can find. I have had this for over 30+ years, it was my grandfathers so guessing 1930s or 40s. Was going to refurbish but getting to old for that and kids, grandkids not interested.
I want to say that might be a craftsman Long c set from the 40’s but it has been repainted? I need the experts on craftsman to chime in here ?

Hi. Haven’t been on site in awhile. I can’t find number on this Snap-On box. I’ve looked at back upper right hand corner. 31.5” wide x 21” deep x 36” high. Any help?

Thought of you guys when I spotted this Proto at the swap meet Sun., seller wasn't around to ask how much, not that I was going to buy it. Pretty minty though.

Guys, I haven't seen one of these Craftsman tool chests before. Current owner believes it's early '90s. Looks like no casters, current owner says it didn't come with any and that appears to be the case. It looks like this was intended to be a stationary tool chest. Obviously, most of the drawer pull trim is missing. I have not yet seen this in person trying to decide if I'm interested or not. Color is black. Approximate size is 1-1/2'x3'x4-1/2'.
Wondering if anyone can tell me anything about 'em. Thoughts?

I got a full craftsman dome top and Blackhawk box for $35. Craftsman needs love for the slides. Most of the small sockets or very old snap on. White corrosion covers everything. Neat little Versa ratchet.
