Who's the BRIGHTEST Trouble/work light, Fluorescent or LED ?

Hand held ,,I did a search and found a few old threads were 2012. I figure there has to be some new lights out there by now.

So who makes the brightness light? is it LED with their claimed high Lummens Or the Fluorescent tube style? ...I don't want any of these China,japan,Yugoslavia, viet nam, made claimed 500 or 5000 lumens

I need one on a Cord reel for the garage.

Also a portable one on a cord or a rechargeable, one I can use on the race cars or in the Boat.

IT HAS TO BE BRIGHTER THAN A 100 watt Incandescent bulb.

I bought a fluorescent bayco for homdepot and is didn't even have around a 25 watt bulb,junk.

Im use to the T5 HO fluorescent lights in my garage, They are so bright they glare.

I have a heavy duty cord reel light that after years of burning myself with the "rough duty" bulbs, I replaced the bulb with an LED bulb from HD. I am very happy with the light output, and no more burns.

165W LED putting out 20,000 lumens.

I buy old trouble lights with metal shields/grilles and replace the bulb with a regular LED bulb from Costco or Home Depot. I find that the 100-watt-equivilent LED bulbs are too bright in close quarters, so I use 60-watt-equivilent LED's, or 75-watt-equivilent versions at a maximum.

The "Snap-On" LED floods that are sold by Costco work well. They can be adapted to stands that held Halogen floods, or wall-mounted with home-made adapters. I find them too bright for close work.

I purchased a Milwaukee M18 "Stick Light", #2352-20 over a year ago, and that is now my "grab" light all the time. I have a 5.0 battery on it and can use all day. It is more of a natural light and not the super white LED light which I prefer. Hardly ever reach for the reel light anymore.

The brightest single small white LEDS are typically 1000-1500 lumens. This gets upped all the time. They do get hot, but they get more efficient every year.

White LEDS can lose half their brightness over thousands of hours of use. The number varies depending on the quality, technology, and what year you are reading this.

A typical car headlight is 3000 to 4000 lumens.
