You mean a double box-end wrench? And what do you mean by extra deep?

Is there a DBE wrench that is extra deep for lack of a better term?
The older DBEs had much deeper offsets. I know if you are looking for a good cheep set you pick up some lectrolite 200x series. Almost every manufacturer made them back pre 1950s

Looking for the following Plomb Pebbles Wrenches 3060, 3061, 3070

Stahlwille Stabil are the only deep offset DBE's I've owned, so I'm not sure how they compare to the others. The look about the same as the Boxo ones pictured above.

this is a set of German-made "Elora" metric double-end box wrenches I just bought on Ebay. I do not have them yet, but they appear to have a deeper offset than any of my US-made models:

I dug out some of my German made offset DBE wrenches in 18x19mm and compared the offset on the 19mm ends. These are somewhat coarse measurements I did from the underside of the beam to the bottom of the box end to get an idea of what the offset is. Of the three the Heyco 475 has the most offset at 32mm. The Elora 110 is close at 30mm. The Stahlwille 20 has about 28mm of offset. Hope that's of some use.

I may be mistaken, but I do not believe US tool manufacturers offer a double-end box with that deep of an offset. I think you have to go German or Japanese or Taiwan made to get something like that.

Then the thing to do would be to check price and availability on the Heyco from KC Tool in Kansas City - from a post in another thread they're got some kind of killer-deal sale this weekend.

KC Tool does have 20% off this weekend. However, I might have spoke too soon on Heyco having the most offset. I got to doing a quick informal comparison by comparing different sizes by setting the beam of the wrenches on a table and letting the box end hang over the edge. On the smaller sizes it goes back and forth between Heyco and Elora on which will have the most offset, while the Stahlwille usually a little shorter than either. Above 24mm The difference in offset between the Heyco and Stahwille wasn't that noticeable. I don't have any Elora above 22mm to compare.

I'm not seeing a metric Heyco set on KC's website. :headscrat
They have several variants of Gedore and Stahlwille, among others, but I don't know enough about the brands to be able to determine which of them is "deepest".

Sure I used the acronym, but I don't think I had it wrong. Great looking wrenches posted and judging by my deepest, those pictured are much deeper. Many of them I wasn't even aware of!

are you just looking for one size? or an entire set?
SAE?
Metric?

if it's just one size and you're after SAE you might consider finding one of those wonky "socket wrench" things made by Walden or Mossberg in the 1920s.

something along this line:

Walden Worcester 5810 connecting rod wrench - 1922 Bostwick-Braun Co. catalog pp 110.jpg

^ this is just a random example - they made a gazillion different sizes and shapes of those things.
it's possible I could be completely off the mark here. ;)

If I need a really deep offset I get a deep socket. They're much easier to find and certainly more universal.
On the other hand I found a set of special sockets you might consider, they're designed to be used on very long (therefore "deep") studs. Picture will follow later today.

Snap On, Williams, Mac and Proto still make a 60° DBE wrenches.

I believe Billings and Bonney and Armstrong also made them.....among others, many moons ago

For what it would be worth 8-14 would probably cover it. It's mainly an under dash access issue. I have had to run power wire in a 2018 F150 several times, the interior carpet is the main issue. There are modules fastened on top of the carpet I would like to pull back, however there is limited access and nuts on long studs. A deep socket wont fit with a ratchet, a shallow won't fit over the long stud. I think the nuts will spin freely once they are broken. I need to get over the module, over the stud but under whatever is over top of my work area. The less I take apart, the better off I'll be.

The Stahlwille DBE wrenches are just what the doctor ordered. Get them on Amazon.de to save some money.

They fit in places nothing else does.
