I think it had 2 days left, so it either sold for $40.00 or he pulled it.
My first post on Garage Journal of my first vintage vise, a well used Athol 615 that I'm going to restore. Anyone have experience with the 615's?
Here's one you don't see very often.

Personally, I have never heard of Triumph vises and there is no listing of any in the vise spread sheet either. Do you have any 411 on this brand (apart from the fact that apparently it is from Germany)?

Nothing but a couple of Google pics.

Wowza!
Indeed.
I had posted in another thread a while back about a good vise to bolt to a toolbox. Well, I found the perfect vise and this is it. It is a Wilton SBV-100. The perfect size in my opinion for a toolbox. Small enough so it doesn't get in the way but big enough to hold most things you would work on at your toolbox.
I made a custom base because the base it comes with I was not happy with the design.
I also increased the jaw capacity slightly with a little machining. I made a video on how I did that.
Nice YORK!
That last picture is my triumph vise. They are actually pretty well made and are a backwards opening vise and ride on square rail if I remember correctly. What gives away the German connection is that they are marked drgm which has to do with patents in Germany and quality standards. The vise uses a outside front clip garter like the Wilton’s Parker’s and yorks. I could get more pictures of the vise as far as jaw width opening and weight if any one is interested.

Rusty, how about getting the stats of the Triumph and forwarding them on to KMS so they can be added to the spreadsheet for posterity.
Montana? I live in Montana. Where did it come from? I want to know if I need to cry or not!
Are you in MA?Found my Wilton King Vise this winter.![]()
Finally got my 8.5" Parker 600. First heard about it in July. Closed deal a few months later, and it finally arrived from Montana today. Shipped via Fastenal. Anyone know what color this would have been when new?

My oh my. I just spent way too much time running through this thread. I have 2 decent milling vises and one crummy bench vise, which isn't even set up right now (garage reorganization). I see a beefy Wilton bullet vise in my future. Thanks to everyone for posting the more unusual vises - those are all pretty cool to see.

Good eye, Yost also sells the same vise under their name. So Wilton, Yost, and York rebrand the same vise as theirs, When I was looking at this vise the cheapest version I found was the Wilton brand which is why I went with Wilton.
Here’s the finished product from my Simplex 61CP restoration. It took 21 hours from start to finish.
TwerstyI was going through my boxes of catalogs and found this brochure. Appears to be from 1950.
