Like you I have both brand's, at work it's all snap on but I've had my cordless tools for years, I had planned on going Milwaukee for a cordless ratchet but snap on gave me a better deal and better product. At home it's all Milwaukee because it's wood working and home use tools...I chose Milwaukee because I think it's the best option for what I want even thou they are usually the highest priced of its competitors.
Snap on is quite pricy thou I've had very good dealers that offer great deals that are as cheap or cheaper than competitors and the tools live up to their price.
Milwaukee is also not cheap but I've been pleased with their product so far and plan on buying more of their stuff but I wish they would throw out better deals or discounts to the trades.
Its not uncommon for Milwaukee reps to give out deals in HD if you talk to them. I have to say that the last few years Milwaukee offers a lot of promos to get free stuff.
I had one time where i was just really disappointed in a product from them and returned it. I wrote to them on facebook and said it was the only product from them I’ve ever returned. They reached out on messenger and asked for my address. They sent me a $250 kit to make up for my disappointment. I didnt even ask them for anything.
But yes i agree - it would be awesome if you got 10% off for being a pro buyer.
