Hi,
My Chuck just seems to be losing it's hold. It seems that every time I take a bit out after use, I always have to take it to the grinder to remove a burr to get it back into the case.
As I look at a stock replacement... I have a series 700 Jacobs on there. A 400 series is coming up as the replacement. I don't know the quality difference. Can I just look for any chuck that is a 1/2 x 20? I assume that i have a 1/2 x 20. (1/2 inch non-hammer drill) I haven't pulled it yet but I will confirm before ordering anything.
I see that some people are moving to a Rohm on other drills? Is that a better quality? I am looking for a good quality chuck.
Thanks,
Mark
