Years back use to work in the weld supply business. Allways better to go with a small local bussiness.
Thanks for offering to help however, I’m able to do my own research to find the best local prices.
.
Yeah, I also think you’re confused....When and where did I ask for help? And what did I ask help doing?
I got that your OP was basically a rant. Some people assume these type of rants also mean you're asking for advice.![]()
Don't know. The company that provides their cylinders is call thoroughbred or pony or something like that. My store stocks several sizesIs this a regional thing? I don't think that service is available at my local TSC. I sure wish it was because they are open on weekends.
"supporting a local business" by expecting them to price match, an on-line retailer - who might be selling bulk welders, out of their garage, does not seem like very much support.
Be careful with this because around here they won't touch anything bigger than an 80cuft unless you are leasing it even if you are just trying to get a refill.
And all have sucked imo besides phoenix welding supply. Only one I will deal with now. Here Matheson is the major player with Praxair second. Both have been fine to me, but, I live in a major city, Phoenix, AZ. You can't spit in my neck of the woods (Deer Valley) and NOT hit a welding supply store. There are literally three within a one block area. Phoenix Welding, Praxair and Vern Lewis.
