Pretty sure that is incorrect. About two weeks ago, I could change to various stores and see 3 different prices on a chainsaw. One was 75% off, one was 50% off, and another was full price.

I used to just buy it at the lowest priced store and pick it up there. What I'm seeing now is that once I log in, the price becomes $120 where ever I am.

"All Lowes clearance pricing varies from store to store" that's what I thought I said.

Or are you telling me that you could find a product at a cheaper location, add it to your cart and then at checkout change the location for pick-up to your location and still get the better price?
Cause that's what I was talking about.

Now the only way (that I know of) to get the best clearance price from a particular store is IF that store location ships.

Looks like the big change is coming to town here. Maybe some Kobalt clearancing too

Now if only the Kobalt adjustable sawhorses would go on clearance, I would finally be able to upgrade mine from the ones that require a carriage bolt to adjust.

Kobalt 204-Piece Household Tool Set with Hard Case

Item # 782577 Model # 64054

Reg $ 199 now $ 99

Too new of a member to post Brickseek link. Apparently not qualified to post a link yet ..... ;)

I'll update later.

Good luck

They are 59 dollars now. I actually just asked the store if I could buy the last 3 stock at my store for 40 each he said yeah. So if you bought it, look back at your store now. May do return rebuy

So I ordered that $9.99 hobby toolkit online at the North Durham store. They called later and said they couldn't find it. Took the order to the South Durham store (4402 Fayetteville St) which had them for $19.99 and they price matched it to $9.99 Also got the Irwin hammer for $4.99.

They have one hammer, two toolkits, two Rockwell Jawhorses at $67 and I also saw this T-handle on clearance which might be useful to some of you.

That Jawhorse seems to be on sale in a lot of places. South Jersey/Philly has them all at $67, and some stores in Delaware. I'm waiting for it to go to $29 or $24, as I just don't do enough woodwork but would find it helpful occasionally.

I have had a Jawhorse for four years now and use it on a regular basis. Sharpening blades, drilling, sawing, extra set of hands, etc...... It sits in the corner near the OH doors and I take it out when I need it.:thumbup:

$67 is a pretty good deal but if you wait too long searching for a $29 deal you may loose out on a Jawhorse.

Very true, I don't have a dedicated vise yet (still planning garage setup) so that can definitely help. Will monitor the next day and maybe pull the trigger this weekend.

Brickseek shows several Lowes around me for $67-85, but when I look on the Lowes website it shows the words "CLEARANCE" but the price is $120. Even does this when I log out and use an incognito window.

It is the same way in my area but if you actually go into the store, the Brickseek price is correct

Is Lowes just bringing in new models of kobalt or slowly taking it off the shelves?. Both my locals have replaced most kobalt hand tools with craftsman and have kobalt stuff clearenced. Have heard some say kobalt is getting canned other's saying it's not since it's Lowes brand...

I haven't noticed a phase out at the store I am working at. I am going in later and I'll see what I can find out.Jim

Just like previously mentioned , if the online item has a “orange” clearance sign the price is going to be lower in the store. You can no longer do a store pickup and get the lower store price , you actually have to go to the store.

Re: Delta SCMS miter saw and stand $150

Delta Sliding Compound Miter Saw and 400 lb capacity stand

Item # 1142380 Model # S26-263LS

https://www.lowes.com/pd/DELTA-SM-1...l-Sliding-Laser-Compound-Miter-Saw/1000668563

S26-262LS has a different motor but is otherwise the same:

https://www.lowes.com/pd/DELTA-Shop...gle-Bevel-Laser-Compound-Miter-Saw/1000465473

Second link is showing a regular compound miter saw, not sliding compound miter saw.
Not sure about everyone else, but sliding is w a y better and definitely worth the extra $50.

If you are seeing a $50 cost difference you must be looking at another store, the cost difference is $0.25 at the store I referenced, see the photo.

I was going by what the guy at the store said, he could have been wrong but he said the only difference was the motor. He said the -262 one was also an SCMS and was listed incorrectly.

Probably best to verify first - but for the $0.25 cost difference, probably better to just get the -263 model.

These seem to be available at a lot of stores at clearance pricing, maybe a bit higher than this store but still good pricing.

Product title also confirms the -263 model is a slider, and the motor is 15amp vs 14amp on the non-sliding. I'm surprised they both had the same original price. Why even stock the lesser model.

I don’t quite understand the pricing on this sliding saw with stand. I’m almost sure it was cheaper for Christmas, and stayed that way quite awhile. Since it’s been on clearance it’s been more money. Still seems like a great deal but I’m pretty sure during the holidays it was for sale around $130.
