It take guts to film videos so well done brother!

This place is funny sometimes like the poor guy who showed off his tool drawers in flip flops and a glass of wine. He didn’t have a good day!

Good luck getting the pricing sorted and keep on posting!

... I need to do another video showing up close pictures of all these little details, but after the reception I got, and everyone saying I'm stoned, kind of killed the fire and motivation......

Hey I dug your video. Your manner was genuine and made me laugh. You have some nice tools in your drawer there and those Wera should fit in well. Yeah they are different and almost over designed, but as a guy that went to Art School, and spent hours painting tint and tone charts...I can dig that. Your honest enthusiasm was fun.

And how about the nice guys here that know their stuff and helped ya find them cheaper! Cool guys.

Charge on!

Righteous, brother. Thanks for not throwing shade towards my slow-speech impediments. I do have some nice pieces in my drawer there, don't I?!

I started wrenching in 1990 or so, but went "pro" in '96 . . . then quit doing it for a living because that sucked the enjoyment out of it, so I only wrench on my own stuff, as a hobby, instead of 40+ hours of feeling forced.

By no means can I compete with these ballers here with Snap-On for days. I have a few select pieces that I hold dear to my cart, but I'll buy some quality Taiwan stuff on the down-low when it's viable.

I'm going to video a tour of my tools right now. I'll try to talk fast and stay on point. Stay tuned.

for the record, i think you have a very unique voice that i don't think the speed of you talking was the issue. it was more the odd stuff you said and when you started saying things like douche nozzle, hot dog down a hallway and bust a hymen every day that it got really weird.

talk about the tools with factual descriptions and keep it on task and i doubt you will get nearly as much negative comments.

I can respect that, but for the record, I did apologize for that kind of talk directly after spewing that trash. "Sorry, that's like graphic. I don't mean to talk like that."

If you're willing to give it another chance, here's a toolbox tour, and I don't say any gross stuff at all. Just passionate about my tools and I tried to keep it moving along: 20 Minutes of TOOL touring

I actually started watching the video because of all the comments, but I got a lot out of it. I really like the set and you explained it pretty well. My experience is with their screwdrivers, which I really like. At 300+ no way though, at $150, hmmmm.

I think you may have a future doing reviews, www.stonedtoolreviews.com #stonedtoolreviews

Thanks for posting this, it was entertaining and informative.

Agreed, and I was able to return it becuase it's only $164 USD on the .de site, so I ordered that. So, at half the initial price, I think it's great!

I’m seeing the wera set at 154euros and that much more complete bluepoint set at £75, so $100 or so. I would expect to be able to get it off the truck for $150!

I didn’t mind the video either was more interested in the design. As far as what tools, I don’t even focus on brand, I use what works and feels good to use.

I saw the link to your Tool Touring video on Reddit, I love it man. You're videos are offbeat and much different from the formulaic toolbox tours I see time and time again. Keep it up!

That set would be a good set to keep in glove box for a good all around set between this set and a hazet 854t set would be what I would like to keep in glove box

That was a good one too! But dang it I saw that Milwaukee Soldering Iron. I did not know they made one.. I have one on the way from ACME Tools now.....

LOVE that M12 soldering iron! I cut my solder-tethers 15 years ago with a Weller BUTANE *******, but it was always clogging up and running out of fuel, and took longer to warm up, etc. I loved it at the time, but hate it now compared to the M12 2488 soldering iron. It really is a joy to use. You'll love it too.

Okay. Thanks for the kind words of encouragement! I could put some more effort into it, like editing - soon to come.

I see a lot of "characters" when it comes to tools and youtube. Lots of very energetic characters like Scotty Kilmer and some other guy that reviews Milwaukee tools and screams at the audience the entire time, with dad-jokes thrown in the mix. I easily get annoyed when I don't jive with their on-screen personas, so I get why I received flack for my videos here from others.

All I can do is be myself and accept that it's going to be a niché and small audience that can sit through the vids, and that's okay. I plan to video-record another "unboxing" today, because I lack creative topic ideas, so I'll just share tools and equipment that I order online.

It's like nothing I've ever seen before. Even the Torx® bits fit TIGHTER than any other. They didn't have the spring-loaded-ball, but they must be machined to fit tighter. The hex bits have almost a Flank-Drive™ shape to them, not plainly hex-shaped, they have concave flats and are also machined to a larger spec. They over-engineered the hell out of 'em.

Also, I agree about the portability factors. It's such a tight little kit, about the size of an owner's manual - probablay design for just that - living in a glove-box.

I've returned my $334.52 dollar set, and they were even nice enough to refund ALL shipping, even my return postage back to them! Now I'm waiting on my $163.51 USD set to get here, and I miss them already.

Guess you do not wrench on the Volvo in your Avatar?
Being a Swede and raised on Volvo´s until I got wise ( graduated to MB´s), my experience over 25 years is that 1/2 " 13, 17 and 19 mm sockets, a long cheater bar and a BFH are all what you need.

It's been a long time, but back in my youth I used to love those things. I had 4 late 70's 164e straight 6 sedans, even a 122 wagon (never got that one running) and a turbo 245 wagon with manual trans!

I used to mess with air cooled VW's back then too, but now I don't really wrench much, because now all my vehicles are kind of new. I'm no longer interested in Volvos anymore though. They kind of fell off my radar and I never looked back.

The only wrenching I do is like bolt-on upgrades or just maintenance these days, until it comes time to do my timing belt in like a decade or something. I mean, I just work on my own stuff and they don't ask for much these days.
