That was a good one too! But dang it I saw that Milwaukee Soldering Iron. I did not know they made one.. I have one on the way from ACME Tools now.....
LOVE that M12 soldering iron! I cut my solder-tethers 15 years ago with a Weller BUTANE *******, but it was always clogging up and running out of fuel, and took longer to warm up, etc. I loved it at the time, but hate it now compared to the M12 2488 soldering iron. It really is a joy to use. You'll love it too.
I saw the link to your Tool Touring video on Reddit, I love it man. You're videos are offbeat and much different from the formulaic toolbox tours I see time and time again. Keep it up!
Okay. Thanks for the kind words of encouragement! I could put some more effort into it, like editing - soon to come.
I see a lot of "characters" when it comes to tools and youtube. Lots of very energetic characters like Scotty Kilmer and some other guy that reviews Milwaukee tools and screams at the audience the entire time, with dad-jokes thrown in the mix. I easily get annoyed when I don't jive with their on-screen personas, so I get why I received flack for my videos here from others.
All I can do is be myself and accept that it's going to be a niché and small audience that can sit through the vids, and that's okay. I plan to video-record another "unboxing" today, because I lack creative topic ideas, so I'll just share tools and equipment that I order online.
That set would be a good set to keep in glove box for a good all around set between this set and a hazet 854t set would be what I would like to keep in glove box
It's like nothing I've ever seen before. Even the Torx® bits fit TIGHTER than any other. They didn't have the spring-loaded-ball, but they must be machined to fit tighter. The hex bits have almost a Flank-Drive™ shape to them, not plainly hex-shaped, they have concave flats and are also machined to a larger spec. They over-engineered the hell out of 'em.
Also, I agree about the portability factors. It's such a tight little kit, about the size of an owner's manual - probablay design for just that - living in a glove-box.
I've returned my $334.52 dollar set, and they were even nice enough to refund ALL shipping, even my return postage back to them! Now I'm waiting on my $163.51 USD set to get here, and I miss them already.
