Northern Alabama is the most populated portion of the entire state. Where in God's name do you live where you don't have internet? Yes, I'm in North Alabama too.
I'm between Decatur and Moulton in Lawrence County Neither cable or fiber available; I have Hughes Net satellite; it works when it wants to. If love to switch to anything else. Most reliable phone service is Verizon; next door has AT&T but it drops more often than Verizon.

Store showed 0 but saw one on top shelf. First attempt to buy yesterday employees were trying to get it down then manager came buy and said it's not for sale and is already sold and held for will call. Walked away laughing talking to another employee. Heard him later in another row saying he was going to buy that tool box Monday once he can get a truck and it's a steal for that price. Exact reason I can't stand Lowe's especially managers. Pissed off as I was I left with the plan to come back today first thing in morning after calling to ask if that manager was working only to be informed hes off till Monday. So I went back to store had an employee help get it down and loaded in my truck. As happy as I was to get it I was still mad about the other manager so i went back in and talked to manager working to let them know how pissed I was and would be taking my business to another store. Manager apologized and said he would be speaking with other manager about the incident Monday also gave me a store credit to make up for my troubles. that other manager will have a surprise Monday when he goes to buy that toolbox and it's gone and he's confronted about it.

If that happens again you can just take the item number to a cashier and tell them you want to pay now and pick up later. Come back in an hour and tell the service desk you’re here for your order. Tell them where it’s at and they’ll have somebody pull it for you. Bonus points if the manager is standing there when you pick it up.

*edit*

Didn’t see where you said the on-hand quantity was showing zero, if that was the case cashier may not have sold it to you. There could also have been one in the system for pick up later already so what the manager told could have been correct and you would have no way of knowing if he hadn’t blabbed about it minutes later.

Several of my family members live in between Moulton and Culman in Bankhead National Forrest and only have satellite internet. No other option there. I have land there too and again, no option for internet. There are places like that. Here in Central Illinois in a very populated area, there is a group of about 50 houses that is the same way. The telecoms never came out to them. We almost bought a house there but there was not reliable internet there

My local store had 9 sets, I bought five. I figured they are from Lowes. Try one set for $10.00 and if I don't like them I can take the other 4 sets back.

the reviews on those bits are good.
Anyone here try them?

This guy says they are OK: Do yourself a favor and skip ahead to 08:00 and as soon as he's done drilling the steel, click off....

I went ahead and ordered 2 sets for pick up. (If they don't cancel)

I ordered 2 sets last night as well (and a few DeWalt recip saw blades also 75% off) . Got an email this morning saying my order is ready for pick up, so I guess I wasn't canceled :bounce: Seems like a great set for the price, certainly better than the cheap Ryobi set I have now

I'm not sure. It still comes up for me on sale on the site and offers in store pickup, but does say delivery available. Not sure if that means it can be shipped or not? Here is the one I got, but some other were on sale as well https://www.lowes.com/pd/DEWALT-2X-6-in-10-TPI-Reciprocating-Saw-Blade/999928918

Thanks. That makes sense. I thought you were referring to the set that someone else mentioned. I found it for 12.49 but not %75 off.

sure, you just bring the receipt, and they will probably do a price adjustment.

They only do price adjustments for 30 days...but they were more than happy to return the item and then let me immediately repurchase it. $11.87 with my lowes card 5%. Saved $35.

Promptly went in and bought a jawhorse #109233 for 63.75 after 5% off. I'll unbox it this weekend and if i like it i might grab another.

Another guy got one at the same time, nice guy. He got his military discount too. In fact he saw me looking at it and checking somethings. But had already talked to the guy to verify the lower price as the yellow tag still showed like $85.

6 in one hand, half a dozen in the other. As long as there is more money back in your pocket.

When I went to the store tonight to pick up my drill bit sets, I saw this Kobalt T-Handle 1/4" Speed Driver on clearance for $7.49 (sticker said regular price was $24.98). Don't know if it's any good or if I'll get any use out of it, but didn't have anything like this so I figured why not?

Should have asked a cashier to do a price check. The 1003063 is probably going for $199, that was the latest price drop that happened from the $499 retail price. Might go down even lower in the next few weeks.

The 0893826 may be a stainless steel tool chest. If you’re not too far away go to the store and ask for a price check by the registers.... otherwise they’ll just go on Lowes.com and check the price which won’t show up

Re: the Kobalt T Handle:

I've got the craftsman version - have only used once w bit in the holder as a garbage disposal wrench when I couldn't find the stock one. Worked great for that...
