Yes, there is a rack for the powertools. I have not had one on my truck but I am told that it will come with everything you need for the powerbank to put your tools in it.

Chad,
Is that KRL rebate for each unit? WouldW a roll cab and chest be a total of $2400 in rebates?
Is there a public directory of Snap On dealers? I'm not on a dealers route but could be interested in 1022/1201 or 761/791.
You're giving up a whole bank of drawers for that charging station.
Is it worth giving up all that storage capacity?

Not to me, but if you used cordless tools everyday, it would sure beat dragging out the chargers and extension cords everyday, and then having to remember to put them away at 5:00 so some a-hole doesn't take 'em.
The Epics are nice, just not my style.

what part of the country are you in?
1. How many tools can you charge up at one time?
2. How many tools does that station hold?
3. What kind of cordless tools does that station hold?
Those are some questions I bet our resident dealers can't answer.![]()
Portland, Oregon
So in other words, you would need to see one in person before you could be sold one. That is a reasonable expectation for a new concept in tool storage.
I cannot answer those questions because I have never looked closely at those tool storage units at the tool shows. The area of town that the majority of my route is in could be called the the 'hood. I dont have any guys buying $12,000 toolboxes. All of the feedback that I have heard from other dealers that have sold them has been positive. If there were major design issues with the powerbank I know I would of seen feedback in the tool storage forum for the dealers.![]()
I'm just wondering what it can do. I don't think I'd want to give up a whole bank of drawers just so I could keep one cordless impact gun and one cordless ratchet on the charger ...
If you only have one cordless impact and one cordless ratchet, then this box is not for you.
The one that I looked at when I was at the SO roadshow last week was really nice.It had holster-type holders at the top.I think it could about 5 tools in the holders. There were 2 shelves below that was for the chargers that I think would hold about the same amount, like 5 or 6 if I remeber right.
